So much talent in one night! It was my first time hearing both Paula Fuga and Ron & Thunderstorm Artis live. And boy were they a treat to hear. Ben Harper and his band were so full of passion and played a great set. Jack Johnson was as smooth, entertaining, and enjoyable as always. Truly loved all the duets and ensemble performances he did with everyone, especially "Better Together" with the entire group! The amphitheater was an outdoor, well maintained venue and we were lucky to have a gorgeous evening with perfect weather! I was pretty disappointed to find some really rude, oblivious "grownups" seated around us though. There were four women who behaved as though they were at an office lunch, chatting and gossiping loudly non-stop over every single song. Not sure why they didn't just hit an Applebee's instead of a concert where other people paid to listen to the talented artists and not their co-worker gripes. A women in front of them finally turned around and told them to zip it. Then we had the very drunk, very obnoxious group of four moms and dads behind us who seemed to be trying to out drink - and out yell - each other. Thank God they left after only a couple of songs. I know rudeness seems to be at an all time high in our society, but I was still surprised at such self-centered, juvenile behavior, especially at a concert wherein so much of the music speaks about peace and treating others with kindness.
