by jaa2jc on 4/20/13Akron Civic Theatre - AkronMy son loves everything animals and was able to identify each animal that was brought out. He was able to enjoy and understand the videos that were presented as well. Some younger children at the show were not as engaged. When my son came home, he said the show was "super awesome!"

Rating: 4 out of 5 Jack was very entertaining but......
by CCats on 4/20/13Akron Civic Theatre - AkronThe show was wonderful, Jack was very entertaining and the animals were beautiful.....but the screaming children surrounding the theater were a big distraction. While the show was fine for 5, 6 yr olds and up....bringing a one or two yr old to this show was rude and irresponsible. To let your child continue to scream without removing them from the theater or to parade them back and forth in front of the stage for all to see........unbelievable. That aside....enjoyed the show very much!

by bamagiraffe on 2/22/13Von Braun Center Concert Hall - HuntsvilleThis was not the first time I've seen Jack Hanna in Huntsville. I love to watch him on TV. He has a wonderful personality. This time however, I was pretty disappointed in the show. There were too many videos and not enough animals. Also, I had seen some of the videos before. The show did not keep my grandchildren's attention (6 and 4). I guess I won't go back to another show.
Rating: 1 out of 5 Engaging and genuine
by Spooty on 2/12/13Von Braun Center Concert Hall - HuntsvilleJack Hanna is a genuine person who is truly committed to the preservation of animals and their dwindling habitats; he is also obviously committed to educating and inspiring people. This show is appropriate for anyone who enjoys and/or who wants to learn more about animals.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Great Show!
by iam4au on 2/12/13Von Braun Center Concert Hall - HuntsvilleMy son and I had a great time at the Jack Hanna's animal show Sunday. My daughter went the next day with her school and also loved the show. It's probably the best show they've been to - very educational!
Rating: 4 out of 5 Fun and entertaining!
by Lambent98 on 2/12/13Von Braun Center Concert Hall - HuntsvilleThe Jack Hanna show at the VBC was educational as well as very entertaining. He was very intriguing with his insights and experiences. All of the details were done well too, the lighting, sound and visual was pleasant even in the balcony section.
Rating: 2 out of 5 Probably would not attend another one.
by mac278 on 2/12/13Von Braun Center Concert Hall - HuntsvilleI love what Jack stands for & all he's done for wildlife. I didn't like watching the slide shows, kinda boring or some I have already seen on TV. The show just wasn't what I was expecting. I was thinking it would have been a little more interactive.

by NiNiJacJac3 on 1/28/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasWhat a great show to have a House of Blues! The animals were great and Jack was such a nice man! It was so awesome to meet him although I'm sad he ran out of his books quickly on the first show - what a treat to shake his hand!
Rating: 1 out of 5 Jack Hanna Disappointing
by ShainaY on 10/8/12State Theater - New BrunswickWe took a 6 year old and 4 1/2 year old to the show in NJ - we were all looking forward to it. It was very disappointing. Jack Hanna lost the kids, spoke way too much, lost the kids with all the talk and subject matter. Most of the kids were board. He did nothing with the animals. He played some movies, and it focused mostly about himself. He spoke about subject matters that were inappropriate for children. It was boring and not worth the money. Maybe adults would like it.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Jack hit it out of the ballpark
by Noli33 on 10/12/11BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodJack gave us such a good show. It was very educational, funny and entertaining. He had a nice transition from video clips to showing animals and our entire family were thoroughly satisfied. God bless Jack for what he does for the animal community and for sharing all of his experiences with us.

by Bubbie7 on 10/11/11BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - EnglewoodMr. Hanna is an amazing person who is so generous with his information and his time. I've never been to an event where the main performer sat by the ticket takers to sign pictures before the performance. He has a love of animals and the environment that he is passing to young and old. My granddaughter and I had a great time.

Rating: 2 out of 5by DarlaSqueo on 10/11/11BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - Englewood My parents took my 8 year old daughter to see this show with much anticipation and excitement. I was informed by them that was not child geared and Mr. Hanna didn't even handle any oif the animals but just stood on the side the whole time.
Rating: 1 out of 5 not what expected
by icha on 10/5/10The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El Pasotoo much talking and too much video, expecting more live animals.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Jack Hanna was Great
by JIJA on 10/3/10The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoIt was a really good show, thought they might have more animals though. Jack Hanna is very charismatic and entertains very well. The only other thing is that for a kid themed show it is probably better to start a little before 7:30 pm.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Jack Hanna was exceptional
by momsmambo on 10/2/10The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoI have always loved animals so when the show with Jack Hanna came up, I jumped on board. I bought two tickets and hadn't even asked anyone to go. I went with a good friend and she also loved it. The film clips were amazing and heartwarming. Of course, seeing the endangered or unusual animals met my expectations. I would recommend this to anyone over seven.

by jeff79922 on 10/1/10The Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center - El PasoJack Hanna is a little fuzzy on dates and times when different things happened in his career, but the show was very entertaining. More than I thought. As a benefit for the El Paso Zoological Society, Hanna plays some video highlights of his career/life interacting with animals. Between videos, Jack and his crew bring out a number of animals that he discusses. A camera on stage rebroadcasts the images to the big screen so you don't have to be up close to see the animals. He talks, and plays videos for about an hour an a half. He has a few political moments, but all in all it was a pretty entertaining shows. Even the little kids in the audience (which there were many) kept their attention on the guy.
