Jabbawockeez Live
With their one-of-a-kind mix of hip-hop street style, innovative stage theatrics and astonishing moves, Jabbawockeez set the pace and the standard for America's dance crews. It's no wonder that this international phenomenon remains a hot entertainment experience in Las Vegas a decade after becoming the first dance crew to headline on the Strip in 2010.
Presented in the Jabbawockeez Theater in the MGM Grand, Timeless is a production that will mesmerize viewers of all ages. The follow-up to the dance crew's hit Jreamz — which marked their debut at their new home in the MGM Grand in 2015 — Timeless combines high-tech design, eye-popping special effects, thrilling music, exciting and sometimes hilarious characters and storytelling, and, of course, the intricate choreography of the masked dancers who've become legends in the dance world.
What audiences get from this diverse group of 15 male and female performers is much more than a hip-hop show. It's a high-impact stage spectacular with unparalleled movement and flow. With Timeless, Jabbawockeez changes the game all over again.
Jabbawockeez Background
America's premier hip-hop dance crew, Jabbawockeez was first established in 2003 by dancers Kevin "KB" Brewer and Joe Larot in San Diego. With their unique ability to balance the dancers' individual expression and their collective purpose, the new group quickly became a formidable presence at dance competitions nationwide. The groundswell of attention led to a spot on the first season of America's Best Dance Crew in 2008, Jabbawockeez securing their victory with a series of stunning performances.
With their identical masks and electric moves, Jabbawockeez continued to make an impact in commercials, TV series such as Dancing with the Stars, Taylor Swift's appearance at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, and many more sports and entertainment events.
In 2010, Jabbawockeez presented MÜS.I.C. at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, becoming the first dance crew to headline a show on the Las Vegas Strip. PRiSM, their next production at the Luxor, established Jabbawockeez as one of Las Vegas' hottest entertainment experiences and a favorite of viewers of all ages.
A show that combines high-tech design and staging with the crew's signature look and choreography, Timeless is Jabbawockeez' second production after landing at the Jabbawockeez Theater at MGM Grand in 2015.
i knew who jabbawockeez was. i somewhat enjoyed show but it was overpriced
With the tied-in humor and creativity it was great
Awesome music , incredible dancing and hilarious interaction with the audience, can't wait to go back.
We loved this show! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun interactive show.
There was not a lot of dancing and more miming in be Show. The dance moves were also average and not very hip hop.
Was hoping to see more dance moves ( which is their expertise) than the humorous interaction with audience. Also you would appreciate the synchrony of their dance moves if you are sitting in the middle aisle. Venue is small that if you are seated at the sides (even at the last row), you won’t be able get a full view of the group and the stage. Not so many seats in the middle tho since venue is small.
This show was not quite what I expected. I thought there would be extensive dance with some flashy lights etc. But it was a story and interactive audience production that was cute and funny. I would have liked a little more of their dancing as that was what I came to see but overall the show was entertaining. One think I did not like was the seating. The chairs are not stacked and a over 6' man sat directly in front of me and I'm 5'4". I had to lean the entire show, even though we were close to the stage, to see anything.
It was a cool show. Nothing like I was expecting but it was good & funny. Like how they get the audience involved in the show. It was awesome! Something you must see going to Vegas.
I love the Jabbawockeez. They're exceptionally creative and the show was exciting!
I love the fact it was more than just dancing it was like a play with great audience participation.
Dreamz was captivating from beginning to end. The Jabb performers are so talented. The whole show had us ROTFL, non-stop. What creativity! Involving the audience was another plus! Highly recommend people attend this show. When we return to Vegas, Jabbawockeez will definitely be on our Agenda.
I was pleasantly surprised at this show. I though it would focus on the dancing and stage presence of the crew, but I was surprised at how funny and interactive it turned out to be. The individual performers, despite wearing masks, could clearly show their emotions by their body language and movements. They encouraged audience participation, which was fun to watch. The dancing was incredible, of course. My only criticism: It was not long enough, only an hour and 20 minutes!
So much better in person!!!! This was an amazing show!!!!
I would recommend to a friend but only the cheapest seats as the performance was mediocre
The show was amazing! Music and dancing was so entertaining. Loved the comedy they incorporated - all the dancers were fantastic! Loved it - I would totally recommend this show! My 2 teen aged kids both said they would come back to LV to watch it again!
Seating in the show is not optimal for anyone behind first 2 or 3 rows
Not enough dancing at all. I came to see the Jabbawockeez dance but most of the act was trying to make people laugh. If I wanted to laugh the whole time I would have paid to see a comedy show. It's nice to laugh but not the entire show were it takes away from the dance show itself.
Saw the show and was not impressed. We loved this crew from seeing them multiple times on America's Best Dance Crew. On that show we thought both the choreo and the timing were much better than what we saw. Was it an off night? Maybe. Or perhaps doing two shows a night means that they can't do a lot of physically grueling movement. Or maybe these kids just don't have it in them to do the same thing over and over? Whatever the case, we were in the front row and kept waiting for "the really good part" which never seemed to come. There were some good moments definitely but a lot of uninspired material and long boring breaks in my opinion. I can't dance to save my life...but I love seeing ambitious or emotional dance performances and I didn't get that with this show.
We were initially excited to see Jabbawockees live. Great dancers. But, the view was terrible and the show was less than an hour long. Expensive and a bit disappointing.
an amateur production at best. Save your money...anything is better than this!!!
