J Balvin was born Jose Alvaro Osorio Balvin in the Columbian city of Medellin. He was interested in rap, dancehall, and bachata from an early age, and began to hone his performance technique and dance moves watching music videos. He made his debut in 2009 with the track "Elle Me Cautivo", which cracked the Top 20 in his native country and the Top 40 on the US Tropical chart. Following the release of a mixtape titled Real in 2010, Balvin continued to climb the Columbian charts with his soundtrack contributions to the 2011 film El Negocio, reaching No. 2 with "Sin Compromiso" and earning his first No. 1 with "En Lo Oscuro". His official debut full-length album La Familia dropped in 2013, expanding his fanbase overseas and landing at No. 2 on the US Latin Rhythm Albums chart. The album contained three chart-topping singles including "Yo Te Lo Dije" and "6 AM", propelling the album to triple-platinum status in Columbia. A talented singer and dancer with enough stage presence to fill even the biggest arena, J Balvin continues to dazzle on perennial tours.

Great show!!. I am older than what you would think and didn't like Regeton but I heard his songs and loved the rhythm he has. The dancers were very good and J Balvin gave a very good show, he engaged the audience very well. would see him again if I have the opportunity.

Taking my 11 yr old daughter to this concert, I had never been to the echostage, and had never heard of J Balvin. Becky G's performance was superb, outstanding!!! My daughter enjoyed seeing her pop star idol! We enjoyed J Balvin very much too, he was great !!! Wished that the echo stage had food to sell there, though, but it was ok. and complimentary seats that went along with the tickets.
I've seen J Balvin open for other artists before but this was the first time I saw him headlining. It was a great performance - tons of energy from the beginning to the end. (The quality of the sound was also a lot better seeing him as headliner in a small venue than opening up in an arena.) I bought the VIP package and it was well worth it to meet him in person (SO NICE!) and get up front at the show, which was general admission / standing only. Go see him!
His performance was unforgettable I love it I want to see him again soooonnnnn!!! His voice is fantastic

I wouldn't say it wasn't fun. but J Balvin sounded super drunk and sang horribly. His voice was tired and he seemed tired. The drummer and the guitarist covered up a lot and were really good. I wish J balvin put the heart into the show. It was a bit disappointing.

I thought they put on a great show. The venue was not the best but J Balvin had awesome backup dancers and kept the crowd alive. Would definitely recommend for any fans!
Excellent Show and on time!! Cost of the ticket was worthy. The two artists were very entertaining and the atmosphere just perfect.
Bought the VIP package and I regret NOTHING!. He was so nice and humble at the meet and greet. When it came time for the meet and greet I did not have my tshirt I had purchased but once I was able to pick it up security helped me get it signed with no problem! The show was absolutely AMAZING (I was able to get 1st row) and he really interacts with the crowd. He even took my took and recorded a video with it!! :D :D :D Definitely was a memorable night!
First time i had been to the hard rock cafe and it was great. The place is nice and centrally located. J Balvin was great so was becky g who was opening for him.
I would give this event 5 stars but the audience was obnoxious. Right before he got on stage, people started fighting and one girl threw a drink at someone and it landed on me! Not fun! Might have just been the unfortunate luck of being part of the group of people that went to this show. Aside from that, he was a great performer! If you're going to get general admission tickets I recommend going to either side and staying away from the middle of the audience! He goes from side to side a lot.

The concer was overall good. I had a lot of fun. The venue was comfortable and the bar was very near us. I would decently come back to the hard rock again for any concerts. I seriously enjoyed my self.
