    Unbelievable Energy and Incredible Comic

    by Check1234 on 6/27/16The Wilbur - Boston

J.B. Smoove is quite possibly one of the most gifted, talented and energetic comedians today! If they didn't flash the light saying he had run out of time and they had to close down the theater he may have gone another hour. He was absolutely brilliant and after the show held a meet and greet, couldn't have been more of a gentleman. If you ever have the chance to see him - GO!

J.B. put on a tenacious show 1/28 at "Caroline's" ~ NYC. Due to my schedule, iCould only go to the Early Thursday Night show. Let it be said, that there was no lack of Energy or Content from J.B. Smoove!! He put on a rollicking, socially-aware, sometimes Nasty & Over-the-Top production. He's a true professional, riding at the Top of his Game. (( go see him NOW!! ))

Show was good. Hugh Moore and J.B kept us laughing. Wanted to stay and meet with him afterwards in the casino, but we just could not deal with the smokey atmosphere. Will see him again when he's out this way.

This Venue is a nice, intimate setting without a huge crowd. J. B. Smoove is a FUNNY guy! His jokes, his antics and his movements all came into play for one great night! I am SO glad I took a gamble (pun intended) to see him at the Talking Stick Resort & Casino! If you have the chance to do so, you'll enjoy a nice treat with attending his live show! He even hung around in the lobby for folks to meet and greet him. Cool guy!

    First time seeing him live

by Keligyrl on 10/27/15The Talking Stick Resort - Scottsdale

I've seen him on Real Husbands of Hollywood. That was my only reference for him. We were in town for a concert that had gotten canceled. Luckily I saw that he was going to be in town. My friends and I decided to check him out. His intro had me worried. I wasn't feelin it. However, he quickly came with the funny. By funny I mean hilarious! My friend and I were falling all over ourselves laughing! He was available after the show to talk photos with his fans. He's a real cool dude and funny as heck. I'd definitely see him again.

What a show. We did not stop laughing. A very high energy show. J. B. spent about 30 minutes after the show talking to his fans. Took pictures, signed autographs, answered questions and general conversation. A truly nice guy. Would highly recommend his show.

    JB Smoove

by Anonymous on 10/28/14Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Mr JB was funny but for me I just couldn't take all the cussing. I do have friends that would not mind the cussing so this is NOT just a straight "no" for recommendation. I respect what he does and he was very funny. I just choose to not hear it as it was distracting for me. I think he did an awesome job in handling the audience members who either were highly inebriated or waging for attention. The little attention for fame was evaporated with gentleness and professionalism. He brought the attention back to what they paid to see. As for his opening act, he should really consider choosing another comedian to warm up the audience. I don't know if the gentleman was naturally not funny or just there to collect a pay check or both. Either way it served as a reflection on Mr JB in a not so positive light if this was his choice. I do understand giving people opportunities but he should have been pulled within 15 minutes. That's just me. I found Mr JB to be very kind and humble. It definitely radiates from him. Just because one makes a certain amount money doesn't mean you should forget who provided the means. I give him kudos and wish I could attend another show that doesn't contain all the cussing. Again, I respect what he does and his choices. Happy Birthday Mr JB (12/16)! I pray that you will continually be blessed above that which you could ever ask for. Thanks for making me laugh.

    This guys a Pro!

by Chuckles1002 on 10/28/14Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

had a great time the guy is polished and a pro been a fan for years and he didnt disappoint. Probably not as well known as most but a premiere act. Handled drunk heckler with class but the staff should have done something about her . She would have ruined the show for me if I was sitting close to her.

JB Smoove almost made me pee on myself

by Tukka on 1/17/12The National - Richmond

JB Smoove smoothness is coarsely brilliant. He ingeniously weaved the absurd with the trite to give me a new view of the obvious. Common boasts became bigger and more excitingly hilarious than the common can become. He effectively used every prop on the stage to include the curtains and the lighting. His performance was comprised of numerous jokes that were magnificently linked into what seemed like one big joke. He definitely found that “ligament” that springs laughter into action. Smoove is a master of the "ligaments" that link the smooth with the coarse, making him simply brilliant. He almost made me pee on myself.
