The show was awesome. I laughed the entire time, from beginning to end. The tickets we're priced reasonably and we were right up on the stage.

by Camesha15 on 10/27/15Temple Theater - MeridianThe comedy was epic and unforgettable. The singing was soulful and great! I really enjoyed all three performance and it was money well spent. Thanks Kia of Meridian for bringing Jay Anthony Brown, Lightfoot and Ruben Studdard to Meridian, MS.

by BroadwayBeauty on 1/2/14Baton Rouge River Center Theater - Baton RougeJay and Luenell were great! The amateur comedians were mediocre. Very poor attendance. There was a total of about 200 people in attendance, including comedians, audience, security, and theatre attendants. Promoters took major hit!!

by Lappathelilyah on 12/30/13Baton Rouge River Center Theater - Baton RougeThe show was good. Each performer did bring their A-game, it's just that no one showed up to watch. Very small crowd, which made some people scared to laugh, because they didn't want to be embarrassed by a comedian. I enjoyed myself and I laughed like I had no sense. Big crowd or not, I paid to laugh and I did!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Great show!
by Vic2011Tory on 12/30/13Baton Rouge River Center Theater - Baton RougeWas not well attended. The place was empty. The local and celebrity comedians were very funny and worth the money.

by Redboneqt on 12/4/11Cannon Center for the Performing Arts - MemphisI was on vacation from CA and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The show didn't start on time, I'm assuming due to the inclement weather, but once it started, the laughs rolled! My seats on the Lower Balcony were dead center stage. I was in Row A and had an u obstructed view of the show. We were encouraged to move down because of the number of empty seats, but most of us chose to stay upstairs.

Rating: 3 out of 5 V101 Comedy Explosion: J Anthony, Huggy, Chris, D
by BIRDMANMAC on 11/28/11Cannon Center for the Performing Arts - MemphisJ Anthony was better than Huggy and he was the host. Chris Paul was not that good to me. Dominique was funny as usual. Too many extras, the music was too loud, the choice was ok, but too loud. The 45minute break was too long.

Rating: 5 out of 5 This show was outstanding!!!
by Heartofstone on 2/28/11Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric - BaltimoreUsually when you have too many comedians on one show, some are not funny. But I have to say that this was not the case. All of them were hilarious, but my favorite was George Wilborn. I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard. I would pay to see them again, that's how much I loved it. Excellent show guys. Keep on doing what you do!!
Rating: 3 out of 5 The best parts of the show weren't the headliners!
by JayQ on 2/28/11Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric - Baltimore1. We could've used more of J. Anthony Brown. He was very funny in between acts, but didn't perform a full segment himself (unless he went on first; we were a little late). 2. The opening acts were hilarious (especially Red)! 3. George Wilborn had the nerve to get up there and tell the audience that he doesn't write any jokes...he just gets up there & wings it. This would've been just fine if he was a comic genius, but he was just average...and self-absorbed, forcing the audience to suffer through him reintroducing himself in order to get a better opening applause, and him harping repeatedly on the fact that he doesn't care how he performs because he was paid in advance (so, it was already a good night for him irrespective of his performance). Had he taken the time to prepare for the show by writing some jokes, he would've been much much funnier! 4. Tommy Davidson (who WAS hilarious) was a complete surprise. Why he wasn't announced on the ticket of feature acts, I do not know. Tommy did a great job! 5. J. Anthony Brown left early although he was supposed to close out the show, so Tommy Davidson said good night to all, closing the show on the fly. We paid for great seats. We sat on the 5th row from the front, right in the middle where the comics stand most of the time. Over $50 a seat. My wife didn't complain and actually said she enjoyed herself. I, on the other hand, was rather disappointed, since we've busted a gut at the local Comedy Factory watching semi-professional comics for about $25 total for us both.

by Gale55 on 2/28/11Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric - BaltimoreI am sorry that the show was not sold out, but those that were there got to experience a great show. Every one of the comedians were truly masters of their craft. It was great fun and a wonderful stress reliever.

Rating: 5 out of 5 J. Anthony is funny funny funny
by SeasonedDiva on 2/27/11Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric - BaltimoreI REALLY enjoy J. Anthony Brown, although I didn't know he would be the host. The 1st act (female) was hilarious, 2nd act (Red) was extremely hilarious, 3rd act (George Wilburn) was funny, etc... The sound system was terrible, but I know is wasn't the performers fault. J. Anthony Brown was soooooo funnnnnnny. I would definitely see him again and again.
