Great play. Great venue Look forward to more productions
LOVED the play! Don’t know if someone who doesn’t get how the radio plays were done would appreciate it as much as we did. But our group thought I.t was fabulous!!
Excellent holiday show. Unique presentation. Recommend having seen the movie otherwise could be difficult to follow.
Loved this show! So much fun!! Will attend again!!
Great show , especially like the guy playing Bert the cop and Martini Look forward to seeing it next year. wish thay would change the venue sometimes.
Fun night at a recreation of an old time radio broadcast. All local talent did great!
I came to the It's a Wonderful Life production last year with my sister and her friends for a bachelorette party. It's a Wonderful Life was so much fun and so beautifully put together that I came again this year with my family and more friends! The live radio drama is a unique experience that will get you and your family in the Christmas spirit and give you laughter and tears. I had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend seeing this event.
The show was great love everyone in it especially Geno Brien and The Bossman parts. Love being a part of the show by us making the sounds when they needed them.
This was such a unique way to see the movie come to life. All the radio hosts and staff did such a great job playing their roles. I loved the live commercials, so funny. The after party was fun but wish there had been more interaction. The radio hosts and staff all stayed together and chatted among themselves. Games should have been more organized and announced.
This was a great event, surprisingly enjoyable. I highly recommend other performances of radio plays.
Excellent play!!! I loved the take in which it was a play about doing a radio broadcast.
We really enjoyed the four person radio type broadcast of a timeless classic. Would recommend.
The actors were amazing as they orchestrated all the background sound effects while juggling the many variations of their different character parts and voices. They made something very complicated look easy. What could have evolved into a slapstick version of an overly familiar story, was instead a sophisticated, lighthearted comedy that used the story line more as a framework with the focus on the people playing the characters, as opposed to the story's characters. But every so often there was that familiar high pitched excited voice so familiar to the millions of us who have seen the movie with the great Jimmy Stewart. It really brought it all together for me.
An amazing feat on a stage! Continuous interaction and complete professional production! Delightful and enthralling! Would love to see it again!
There's not much else to say. Do not take kids to this; it's no fun at all.
I, my sister, and our friends went here last Friday, and we had an amazing time. We actually did this event for my sister's bachelorette party! :-) This was one of the most unique performances I have ever been to. It was so much more fun than a typical play, because the audience was able to watch the actors broadcast the "voice" play over the radio, and the audience had a blast participating in making the background noise. My sister and I could not stop laughing when we got to use our voices to be the "angry crowd", or the "cheering kids". It was quite amusing to see the sound effects crew use a small door to make the sound for a door opening, or watch them hold a microphone to their feet to make the sound of footsteps. My favorite part of the play was the conversation between Clarence the Angel and God. I loved the movie It's A Wonderful Life growing up, and the live radio drama was a creative and fun new way to bring back old time radio and this classic Christmas Story. I walked out of the theater wishing it would play again the next night so I could bring my whole family. I will definitely come next Christmas if this plays again.
The show is adorable. All readers worked hard and the theater is beautiful. I wish, however, the theater would do something to limit annoying guests. I sat next to a woman who was slurping her drink, eating candy with an open mouth, and had her bright cell phone on through the whole performance. Any three of those things being banned would be a fantastic improvement to the theater going experience!
Great event, well done. Had a wonderful time, looking forward to next year.
It was really well done! There was a lot of audience participation to make it come alive for the radio listeners. The actors were great! I have to give a shout out to the sound effects crew! They were awesome!! Such a cool experience to be part of a live radio broadcast!
LOVED this live production! Everyone on stage looked like they were having a great time and the audience participation was lively! Can't wait to see it again next year! Thank you for starting the holiday season off with such a magical experience!
