Granddaughter’s Night Out!!

Ate out at Hickory Park, did some shopping, then went to the Iowa State vs Brown and Iowa gymnastic meet! It was our first gymnastics meet and we all loved it! ISU hair ties, posters, great accessibility to Cy for pictures, and ring side seats! The athletes were amazing in their abilities and enthusiasm, great time for all of us, will do it again….. so should u!!

First College Gymnastics Event

K. on 3/2/20Iowa State Cyclones - Hilton Coliseum - AmesRating: 5 out of 5Was looking for something different and inexpensive to do and found general admission tickets to the ISU Women's Gymnastics Meet against Michigan. My husband and I both enjoyed the meet and watching ISU win the meet. There were a lot of young kids in attendance, most of them dressed in Spiderman or princess costumes, and they were all having a good time. The only thing I didn't enjoy was our seats were near the band, which was loud and annoying. Other music was piped, but energetic. I'm glad it was a good overall experience since I purchased tickets for a second meet. I'm happy to have found something to do close to home and tickets that were less than the price of a movie.
