    Played all the old classics!

by Exphotog on 8/14/11nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

This is the first time I have ever listened to INXS without Michael Hutchence and I wasn't disappointed. They played all their old faves. They opened with Suicide Blonde and the encore ended on a high with New Sensation. They didn't attempt to plug too much of their most recent stuff. JD Fortune is no MH however and perhaps tries too hard to be him, acting a little bit like Russel Brand with short hair. (which is why it only got 4 stars not 5) apart from that it was outstanding.

    Great Show

by CubeL7 on 8/14/11nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

INXS can still rock! The music set was great. I am really glad they decided to play New Sensation and Don't Change in the encore. If all we had heard was the remix country and acoustic versions everyone would have been disappointed. They really need to drop the country version of New Sensation, it killed the atmosphere in the crowd and not right for the concert. Nilkka Costa was good, the sound mixing was horrible and you could barely understand her or hear the trombone...even during the trombone solo.

    INXS awesome again!

by crazy4inxs on 8/14/11nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

My 3rd show in 2 weeks and just as awesome as the other 2. The whole band was very energetic, JD all over the stage, singing and sounding great as always. The stage was really high and we could not get right up to the stage like at some shows, had to stay a few feet back. Mostly you have to stay at your seats here. But the crowd was really into it, singing and dancing along. Another fantastic show from the INXS boys.

    INXS Re Born

by Nyliac on 8/14/11nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

Ok, so I've been following INXS since Shabooh Shoobah and gotta tell ya I really miss Michael, however JD is doing a great job. I have been to many of the past INXS concerts since 82' and it really hit home hearing their music live again without their lead singer. Overall a great show but really wish they would have played more songs from Switch (Pretty Vegas only made the lineup, and trying to move forward with JD on this album was working). Hope they can produce more like it, and stay away from the Original Sin (bought it at the concert and it's not good). Rock on INXS!

    Hutchence is/was INXS

by ODUGrad on 8/14/11nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

This band has gone through a lot since Michael Hutchence's suicide a number of years ago. I wish I could say they were good, but the lead singer just doesn't cut it. The band continues to produce great music, but the lead singer is no Hutch!

INXS still rocks after all these years!

by Damann on 8/14/11nTelos Wireless Pavilion - Portsmouth

I thought INXS put on a really incredible show. Their "new" lead singer, JD Fortune, did a great job. He is very energetic and does the legacy of Michael Hutchence proud.

    INXS PARTYING IN ATLANTIC CITY

by PAPERLATE on 8/10/11House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic City

THE GROUP INXS PLAYED ALL THE HITS THAT I WANTED TO HEAR, BUT DID NOT HAVE A GOOD LIGHT SHOW / STAGE LIKE ALL OTHER CONCERTS I SEE EVERY YEAR BETWEEN MY 55 TO 60 CINCERTS A YEAR BETWEEN NY/NJ// AND PA. FOR EXAMPLE THE LAST CONCERT I SAW "THE STEVE MILLER BAND' AT MUSIKFEST IN BETHLEHEM, PA. WAS SET UP EXCELLENT AND HAD A GOOD SHOW COMPARED TO INXS, I DDN'T LIKE THE SHOW-GIRLS THERE THAT MUCH EITHER TRUTHFULLY. SO I DON'T THINK THAT I AM GOING TO SEE THEM AGAIN

by 08406 on 8/9/11House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic City

Really enjoyed the concert at H of B. Liked the smaller venue alot. JD was really HOT, could loose the beard though. The pilot get-up was sexy too.

    INXS Was Awesome, As Usual!!

by NewGooGirl on 8/8/11Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

INXS looked and sounded amazing. J.D. does a great job of trying to sing the songs like Michael did, while still using a bit if his own style. Liked the Drum Opera at the beginning with the Farriss Brothers. Kirk and J.D. interacted with the audience quite a bit. Loved hearing all of my favorite songs, but I must say that I do not like the Original Sin versions of the songs. I did not like the "country" version of New Sensation sang by the cowgirl, or the Original SIn version of Don't Change. Fans want to hear the songs the way they know and love them, not sung with a new arrangement.

    INXS gave a fantastic show!

by Reenster on 8/8/11Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

INXS gave a great show as always. Didn't know how I would feel about JD Fortune as the frontman, but he exceeded expectations. Fortune had difficulty with his earpiece and seemed to let that show. The only disappointment of the evening was that they had one of their backup singer sing New Sensation. They made up for it later in their encore. I would definitely see them in concert again!

Still Stands the Test of Time

by donnie809 on 8/8/11Beacon Theatre - New York

I absolutely loved INXS when Michael was the lead singer - he was the MAN. Then JD stepped up to the mic and he has such energy and sexiness- HE has proven himself worthy! Would love a night out with those guys, keep coming to NYC. The traffic isn't that bad....once you learn to drive like a cabbie. Fantastic Showmanship!

    Rocked to XS!

by BAlbright on 8/8/11House of Blues Atlantic City - Atlantic City

Sooooo good to see JD back with the Boys! Didn't care for the "re-imagined" treatments of a few songs. In fact, a little energy left the building when JD left the stage and "New Sensation" was sung by a woman with a country flavor followed by a toned-down version of "Don't change". I love hearing their hits in their original format, and love singing along to them as I remember them. JD never lost any of his energy, even when the crowed was just sittin' on their collective bum. His getting the crowd on their feet literally saved the night for INXS!
