I loved the Friday event day of the Indy Mile. The AMA is very organized, we will be back. Hope they keep it on Friday!!!
We were treated like Royalty. There was an express entry at the Fairgrounds for race fans. While in line I was given free passes for the fair (saved us $30.00). Parking attendants were friendly and helpful! Parked inside turn # 1. Easy to pick up will call tickets, great seats... great event. Didn't miss beer hawkers roaming the stands. Go next year too!
Nothing compares to flat track racing on a mile track. It is some of the best racing you'll see at a very reasonable price. I wouldn't miss it!!!
The raceing was outstanding as always. We were not guided to our parking lot like we were last year and a lot of people parked in the wrong spot, which meant a long walk. And again this year there were no vendors for our crowd. I'm sure the Indy Fair is a fine event, but I have NO INTEREST in attending it. And I am sure a lot of people appreciate the fact that there is no beer at the fair, but that feeling is not shared by the race fans. At least the ones I talked to. The reason most of us go to these races is for the comradirie and to look at the bikes. I'm sorry, but the fair gets in the way. And yes, I will attend next year as I truly enjoy the flat track action. But I will not be going to the fair.
This was my second time at the Indy Mile while in town for the MotoGP. Once again, an awesome spectacle!
Fantatstic afternoon and evening of racing entertainment. I've been to many flat track races, but this was my first mile. I was blown away.
With exception of one racer who rode away in every event he was in the racing was very exciting
The racing was outstanding. Really a great show at a nice facility.
Great motorcycle race the dirt boys really know how to put on a show
Awesome race. Good to see Harley not dominate. Bryan Smith could have stopped for a cheeseburger and still won the Main
It was the most amazing and exciting event I have been to in a long time.
Exciting races. Will go again. Great event. Fun times.
Great event every year. Great racing, nice facility, good crowd.
Some of the best racing around. Cant get any better then going into the corner at 130mph with no brakes and sliding it around.
I had never been to a flat track race in person. We were in town for the MotoGP and saw a billboard advertising the race so we got front row tickets halfway between the start/finish line and turn 1. WOW! The bikes roaring past at 120 mph was really exciting and there was some close racing going on all evening.
Every year we come to Indy for both the MotoGP and the Indy Mile. The MotoGP is an event, not just racing. The Indy Mile is always far and away the best racing of the weekend. If the Indy mile were cancelled for any reason, I would not make the 700 mile drive just to see the MotoGP. Keep up the great week.
The racing was great. The sounds and smells got you going. The track has a great history of great racing.
This was by far the best race I`ve been to and I go to alot of different races.Been going to races since I was a kid and this one had the most action, side by side racing, and whole field competition.
Dirt track racing in general and mile flattrack in particular is the best value in motorsports. At Indy there there were 3 bikes abreast at the finish. Great competative racing. Plus we got into the State Fair as part of the ticket price. Be brave, try the donut burger.
The Motorcyle races themselves were awesome! However, with no program, no leader board, and big screen images changing all over the place; I'm not sure I'll be back unless I KNOW that there are some changes!
