Seeing the Ice play was awesome! I was seated close to their goal, and close to all of the good action! Like any hockey game, it was rough, fast paced, and fights almost broke out-- everything you would want right!? It was also very family friendly; no one used profanity and kept it clean for the kids sitting close by. Cotton candy+popcorn+soda+hockey= one great night!
This was my first time watching a hockey game in my entire life. It was really great.
I bought 8 tickets to this game for myself and some coworkers. We met in Indy, had dinner, and headed over to Bankers Life. We paid $21 each and our seats were only about 5 rows from the ice. It was incredible. The ICE are fun to watch, and before we knew it we were all screaming and cheering loudly. This event is definitely family friendly and a great way to enjoy a night of doing "something different"
We had a blast at the game! It was my grandson's very first hockey game and he loved it. One of the staff members working down front, got a puck and gave it to him!! So very nice!
So I was back in my hometown over the holidays with my girlfriend. She & I are both big time hockey fans & we decided to take my parents to there first hockey game. Parking is easy because of the lack of people that really show up to watch. This also explains why tickets are so cheap. But overall it's a fun way to spend a night with the kids of your significant other. The Indianapolis ice as a whole lack a lot of skills that the professionals carry. Such as simple passing and well taken snapshots.. Also you tend to see very little contact against the boards. We did managed to see a fight 54 seconds into the game? Hockey fans expect to see passing the puck in front of the net and wildly thrashing to get it in the back of it.
We have highly recommended the Indiana Ice games to all of our friends and family.

Everything was amazing except for the person who got on the ice during intermissions. He stood too close to his microphone as well as came through staticky and garbled. It would have improved my experience greatly not have to wince every time an intermission happened. Also, open up the zamboni rides to people over 18. I didn't grow up watching hockey and only discovered it after I turned 18. I wanted to sign up for a chance to ride the zamboni and it's only for younger kids. It made me very sad. Other than that everything was excellent!

went Sunday to watch Indy Ice vs Waterloo Blackhawks...bought the tix here and the BEST part about that was being able to pick my own seats...pretty much straddled the Center line about 10 rows up from ice level... this was my first game @ Banker's life and unfortunately the Last Ice game of the season...it was also my wife's first hockey game and she was thrilled and excited beyond words....I live in Terre Haute and it was well worth the hours' drive ....looking forward to next season....................
The arena is awesome for hockey, too bad there weren't a lot of fans present to watch their team. The prices for drinks are high, but they probably have to do this due to it being an NBA arena.

Going to an Ice game was great! The atmosphere was fantastic. I will definitely be going to another game in the future. Not only did we get to see a hockey game, but it went into overtime and a shoot out!
Fun and entertaining. Great seats that don't cost alot for the entire family to attend!
Even though ice lost in OT and a shootout - this was the best event to have experienced with my boys.
Seeing the Ice in Banker's Life was a real treat. Great game, great atmosphere, and a great experience. With the Pepsi Coliseum under renovations, it is nice to see the ice play at an arena that would be worthy of a Pro Team. The players play hard and deserve a comfortable environment to play while renovations are under way. Hockey is at its best live and at Bankers like for $20 you cannot go wrong.
The venue was great, parking was a breeze, and it was an exciting game. Overall, a lot of fun!
I took my little cousin to this game, and he had a blast! We had perfect seats and got to see all the fun action!
Very enjoyable and affordable evening! We would definitely return in the future!
