Indiana Fever History
The Indiana Fever are a professional basketball team in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). After joining the league in 2000, the Fever qualified for their first postseason in 2002 and reached their first Finals in 2009. The Fever secured their first WNBA championship in 2012 behind a Finals MVP performance by 2011 WNBA MVP, five-time Defensive Player of the Year and 12-time All-Defensive Team selection Tamika Catchings. In 2015, the Fever appeared in their third Finals but fell to the Minnesota Lynx in a 3–2 series. Between 2023 and 2024, the Indiana Fever ushered in a new era with back-to-back No. 1 draft picks Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark.

Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse
Gainbridge Fieldhouse is the downtown Indianapolis indoor arena that has been home to the Indiana Fever since 2000. Opened formally in 1999, the 17,923-seat facility has hosted the team almost consistently for over two decades, aside from breaks for renovations between 2020 and 2022. Gainbridge Fieldhouse has hosted three separate WNBA Finals matchups, in 2009, 2012 and 2015. At home games, fans can get their cheers up with help from Indiana Fever mascot Freddy Fever.

The Indiana Fever’s 2024 regular season tips off in May at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut against the Connecticut Sun. The Indiana Fever host their home opener against the New York Liberty on May 16 and close out the regular season at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC against Eastern Conference opponents the Washington Mystics. The Indiana Fever vs. Minnesota Lynx game was a lot of fun. The ticket prices were good and my family enjoyed the event. The Fever are a very fan friendly team and the atmosphere was really energetic.
We enjoy watching the Indiana Fever. They are an awesome basketball team, very professional.
We actually had to switch dates and were able to see the game on July 5th at 6pm. It was a great game.

I love the Fever...this was my first time attending a Fever game & I had a blast. They are just as talented as the Pacers, and make girls look strong and powerful!!

i never been to a Fever's game and it was exciting.
My daughter and I have never been to a WNBA game before. We had the experience of our lives. We've attended 4 more games since then. We are now officailly fans on the way to becoming super fans. Go Fever!!!!!
It was nice to be able to take my son to a sporting event and not break the bank--this was the $10 ticket promotion game.
The Fever are one of the best entertainment values in indianapolis. This years team is very good and the price is right. Compared to the Colts and Pacers, it is much cheaper, the atmosphere is much more laid back and you have more access to the players.
I would recommend any womens basketball fan to head out to Indianapolis to watch the professional team play. The tickets are a great price and you can see very well from any seat! The Fever in the past havnt had the best record but they are improving, and currently ranked in the top of there conference!
From the time we walked into the fieldhouse we knew we were going to have fun. My two daughters and I were just excited about being there. To top it off we won the game.
The girls are wonderful and you can take the whole family and not worry that a fight is going to break out !
I enjoyed the game. It was sad that they lost; however, the fans were complaining mostly about the coach because she sat down while they were losing and the team looked like they lost hope. This was my only fret. The fans make the game enjoyable. Aside from the overpriced food and the annoying remove the cap off you drink rule, I say I would come again.

My grandson really enjoyed seeing the Fever play even though it was not their best effort. At least they are on the right track now. The seats were close to the court which made all the action even better. I would love to take him to another game and I am really a big basketball fan myself.
I had great seats. I enjoyed watching the Fever play. Catchings, Douglas, and the rest are awesome. I think you should go and support the Fever.
