In Flames represent the best of metal's past, present, and future. In Flames are as vital and even more energized today than when they unleashed classics like Come Clarity and Clayman in decades past.
The band built a stunning reputation with devastating, crowd-moving, inspired performances around the world at every major rock and metal festival imaginable, headlining multiple treks, and touring with the likes of Slipknot, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Killswitch Engage, Within Temptation, and Lamb Of God. They regularly headline some of the biggest stages and festivals in the world.
Foregone, the furious fourteenth studio album, combines the greatest aggressive, metallic, and melodic strengths of their landmark records with the seasoned songwriting of their postmodern era.
The melodic guitars, crushing riffs, and high-speed tempos that define much of the In Flames catalog first crystalized on their second album, The Jester Race (1996), complete with hints of the catchy choruses to come. Whoracle (1997) is the rawest and arguably heaviest In Flames album from the 90s. Metal Hammer declared melodeath masterpiece Colony (1999) "an undisputed fireball of an album."
Clayman (2000) introduced synths and more prominent clean vocals, without sacrificing the band's intensity. Reroute to Remain (2002) took the groove element further. Soundtrack to Your Escape (2004) expanded the rock bombast. Come Clarity (2006) is a perfect metalcore slab. A Sense of Purpose (2008) delivered some of the band's best and most eclectic songs. The gothic groove metal of Sounds of a Playground Fading (2011) paved the way for the unapologetic Active Rock hooks of Siren Charms (2014) and Battles (2016). Fans of the aggressive side of In Flames praised I, the Mask (2019). Foregone masterfully, if improbably, manages to serve all sides of the In Flames fanbase, with powerful force.
A sense of pride, accomplishment, and continued vitality are evident every time the band takes the stage, and all over Foregone. Melodic death metal pioneers and innovative purveyors of groove, the artistry, influence, stature, and future of In Flames loom as large as the heavy metal horizon itself.
Long live Bjorn and Anders!!! Great show! Can’t wait to see them next time they are in town.
This is my 7th time seeing In Flames and every time I can expect an amazing show, I'm never let down. The Casino Ballroom in Hampton, NH is an awesome venue with great staff. The sound was terrific, the beers were cold and the night was overall a perfect experience. There's ample parking if you're willing to pay, but I can't beat a 60 second walk to the venue. I did get the VIP Meet & Greet package and that was worth it as well. In Flames are very polite and fun guys. I've been to the Ballroom before and I will be returning at some point in the future. 10/10 recommend.
Had an amazing time in Bklyn seein In Flames. Sound and tightness of the band was extremely impressive! Musicianship was on point too! Would see them again again and again. But next time….. play Ropes! 🤟🏽
In Flames put on an amazing show at The Warsaw in Brooklyn on Friday May 3, 2024. Perfect blend of new and old songs some of which I had not heard live before. This was my fourth time seeing In Flames and maybe it was their best set yet. The venue was excellent. I had never been to The Warsaw before and was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely attend a show there again. I would love to see In Flames at a larger venue. Maybe next time The Kings Theater of the new Brooklyn Paramount. People forget how big this band is in Europe and yet they play much smaller venues in the states. Anyway, I was glad the show was sold out and hope they return to Brooklyn again soon. IFWT
Best concert ever! Warsaw is fantastic- clean bathrooms and unbelievable sound system. Drinks are overpriced.
I wish I got there on time to see the whole night, but that last hour of the show was so incredible. I can't stop listening to In Flames. Such a good band
Awesome concert! I enjoyed seeing them live. I would definitely go see them again.
I've seen them a number of times, both as an opening act for an arena show and headlining in smaller venues. They always put on a great show and sound amazing.
Openers were okay but in flames delivered a fantastic performance.
In Flames was great. Opening band Havoc (from Denver, Colorado) was great. The Van Buren concert venue was great. I had a great time. Great, great, great... 👍
Our first time to this venue. It was clean, friendly and efficient. There was an unscheduled garage quality band that played before the opener. This pushed the published times back considerably and on Sunday night at that. We never heard who the first band was. The scheduled opener sounded good. In Flames was okay. You really could not understand any of the vocals. The music just buried him. I don't know if that was the bands fault or if this is a venue where the house does the mixing, but it wasn't the greatest.
I've loved In Flames now for over ten years, and they absolutely KILLED it at the Van Buren. Everything was great. Thank you!
All 3 bands - Bury the Darkness, Havoc and In Flames absolutely killed it!! Wonderful show and great audience as well. The Van Buren is a great venue to see a show!!
Good experience , I took a mezzanine ticket this time and I promise you that I liked that show
I went to the show in October/November 2022 at Wally’s in Hampton Beach it was my first concert that I actually enjoyed Anders and Crew were so nice and Bjorn kept throwing picks at the crowd it took them some time to realize my arms didn’t go above my head and I eventually got a pick I desperately want to go back
I've seen them 3 times now. My favorite band so I may be a little biased. They put on a good show every time. They are OG Swedish melodic metal!
They played songs from albums all over the place. Excellent mix of songs, killer performance, the pit was great and I have big lasting bruises prove it haha
Amazing setlist, amazing sound. Seeing "big bands" in small venues is always an amazing concert experience but this one was one of the best. An intimate venue with great sound, In Flames gave us all a night to remember. New songs sprinkled in between older songs from almost every album, the set list was astounding. New guitarist Chris Broderick was super impressive as was Anders vocals. Wallys is always a great venue (though they need bigger bathrooms) and their booker has been doing an amazing job lately getting great rock and metal bands. #Inflameswetrust #wallysNH
It took me nearly 30 years to see In Flames live and I am glad I did!
Great show, lead singer of In Flames called out security after the first song and had a dude pulled. For some reason, never seen it before, the security thought it was a good idea to push crowd surfers back rather than pull them over. (Like every other venue does) No issues after that, great show. All supporting acts were amazing. Nice small venue that I would see other bands at.
