About

#IMOMSOHARD on Tour

Moms, best friends and funny ladies Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley are the creators of the viral web-series #IMOMSOHARD, where they discuss the good, the bad and the funny about motherhood - with the help of a bottle of red wine!

#IMOMSOHARD has grown to over 1.5 million follows across platforms and over 120 million video views. One of their most shared episodes, I Swimsuit Season So Hard, where the moms tried on the summer's hottest/most ridiculous swimwear, garnered over 20 million views and coverage in the world's top news outlets. They have recently appeared on The Today Show and The Doctors, to name a few, as well as being chosen for People Magazine's best of 2017. Part of their plan for complete world mom-ination includes their own half-hour, multi-cam comedy which the moms are developing with CBS.

After the moms' first mega-year of touring (you know, just 72 cities) with their live stand-up show: Mom's Night Out - Summer Break Tour, they will be hitting the road again this year with Mom's Night Out: Round 2. Their kids are older, the moms are older, but the show is new!!

    Gross

by MillennialKaren on 8/2/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

I love their videos on Facebook, but their live show was wildly inappropriate and rude. I just couldn’t wait for it to be over. If I hadn’t carpooled to the event, I would have left early. 2 stars because: Beautiful venue. And no wait for the women’s restroom!

    fun girls night out

by Andi on 8/2/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

The Majestic is a great venue! Small enough that there really don't seem to be any bad seats, and enough bathrooms even for an event with an audience that's 99% women. The show itself was pretty funny, but probably a once-is-enough show. Based on the name, I thought the humor would focus more on raising kids and the craziness of being a mother, rather than so much emphasis on crude sexual humor. Perhaps if the drinks were a bit more affordable, the audience would've been better primed for the cheap humor.

    Died laughing

by #tiredmomof2 on 8/2/22Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

Went with girlfriends with zero expectations. Honestly, had never heard of this. Was hoping for a good laugh. From the first minute to the last we all laughed hysterically. This show is so spot on it is ridiculous. Thanks for the reminder of all of the crazy stuff we go through in this ‘hood.

    Laughed so hard

by Anne S. on 6/23/22Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

This was my first #IMOMSOHARD event and I will definitely go again. I laughed so hard for two hours straight. Jen and Kristin are not only hilarious but all their material is relatable to other moms. The Ilani Casino is a beautiful and clean venue. I love that didn’t come out smelling of smoke. I would attend another event there.

    Major visual issues

by CD on 6/22/22Ilani Cowlitz Ballroom - Ridgefield

Major visual issues Unless you were seated exactly in the center of the auditorium, you were not able to see the main screen at the back of the stage. The two side screens did not run the same video that was being displayed on the main screen so the audience missed a lot of what was happening on that display. Cameras generally showed the main comedian as a close-up, but the audience missed the reactions of the secondary comedian because they were not being shown on the side screens. when you have two comedians playing off of each other even the straight man needs to be shown.

    So negative and crude

by Amanda on 6/21/22Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I'd seen their YouTube stuff and thought it was funny, but was super disappointed at this live show. It was so negative and crude i really didn't find it funny. My friends and i didn't make it through the whole show.

This is my third IMOMSOHARD show and this by far was the best venue! We had so much fun and it’s just always good to get out and have a good laugh with Kristen and Jen. Love that they came to San Diego and hope to see them back again soon. Recommend

by Joan on 4/27/22Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego

This is the second time I've been to their show and I just love them I love everything that they do be it on social media be it at an event or even the few messages we've sent each other over the years here they've helped me make it through some pretty damn hard times I got to say. This time I got to take my daughter which was especially fun hope they can come back again such a great venue.

    Exceeded Expectations!!!

by Tisha on 4/27/22Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San Diego

I love following Kristin and Jen on Instagram, and when they were coming to my town I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see and support them. With my girlfriends and I have no idea what to expect as none of us have been to Humphreys or had seen a show like this before. We were absolutely blown away by their variety, their energy, and we literally laughed nonstop for an hour and a half! We related so closely to nearly everything they talked about, and their energy was impressive!! I couldn’t believe all the funny things they came up with for the show and I highly recommend seeing it with your girlfriends!! You will not be disappointed!! Thanks for coming to San Diego Kristin and Jen!! Come back again soon!

    Great show for moms

by Momatude on 4/26/22City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

The show was great, my mom Friend and I laughed a lit and really enjoyed it. Our only problem was the bar wasn’t staffed well enough and it took forever to get a drink.

Why does live show = more crude?

by Name181818 on 4/26/22City National Grove of Anaheim - Anaheim

The imomsohard YouTube videos have made me laugh so hard that I’ve cried, on multiple occasions. They’ve made even the tough parts of motherhood something to smile and laugh at. So I expected the live show to be similar. Boy was I wrong! The live show was crude and vulgar both in content and language. There was a handful of bits that had me laughing but much of it seemed to cross a line. I don’t like to give negative reviews, especially to strong women who are very talented. I just was surprised how different the live show was from the videos that really made their name and brand.

    Funny is an understatement

by Skram on 4/25/22Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand Oaks

This is a very very entertaining show. Funny and clever. A laugh out loud type of show geared toward women for sure but enjoyed by men too. As a man at the show and there might have only been 15 of us, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Stale

by NBaxter on 4/25/22Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand Oaks

I love to ladies from Mom So Hard. Their videos make me both laugh and feel depressed at the same time. I love the back and forth. I love their chemistry. I love everything about their videos. I especially love how it all seems improvised. They sit, do their thing and then edit all the good parts together. The show was super disappointing. It lost the magic. It seemed way to rehearsed. I get that they have done the show hundreds of times but the audience wants it to feel new and fresh and off the cuff. That is one important thing for comedy. To make us all feel that the stories are true and this is the first time they are being told. It seemed like the Mom So Hard ladies were bored with their own material.

    Well Worth the Money

by LisaP on 4/25/22Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand Oaks

Highly enjoyable and entertaining show. I am personally very familiar with the stars. I've read the book, listen to their podcast, I've seen all the Facebook videos. My husband was 1 of about 8 men in the audience and he laughed a lot. It was a little long by about 20 in my opinion but what do I know! Would definitely go again.

    IMOMSOHARD

by Mom in need of a good laugh on 4/11/22Silver Legacy Casino Reno - Reno

What an amazing show! I’ve seen these ladies once before and their new tour did not disappoint. We had a group of 10 ladies and the laughs never stopped.
