Imminence are an alternative metalcore band hailing from Trelleborg, Sweden. Currently comprised of vocalist Eddie Berg, guitarist Harald Barrett, rhythm guitarist Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanström and bassist Christian Höijer, the band released the EP Born of Sirius in 2012 — the same year they first played the Metaltown Festival, one of the largest festivals in their native Sweden. Imminence released their debut album, I, in 2014, followed by 2017’s This Is Goodbye, 2019’s Turn the Light On and 2021’s Heaven in Hiding. Since then, Imminence have unveiled a string of singles including 2023’s “Jaded,” “Come Hell or High Water,” “Desolation” and “Death By a Thousand Cuts.” In 2024, Imminence will embark on a tour of the United States.

  • Show was amazing, venue sucks

by Thatonemetalgirl on 3/31/25House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

All 3 bands killed it, especially Jiluka and Imminence. Zero complaints there. Worst venue in Florida tho. I avoid shows at this venue like the plague. Only went to this one because idk when I’ll have the chance to see Jiluka again.

Imminence was all I hoped for! Great performance. Sound was perfect and they played all their best songs. Jiluka and Landmarks were great choices as opening bands. Their energy is top tier!

It was impressive to hear them bring their songs to life. This in conjunction with the visuals made for a great show. One that will not be soon forgotten.

  • Hoped for Better

by Otto on 3/19/25Fillmore Minneapolis presented by Affinity Plus - MinneapolisRating: 3 out of 5

To be blunt, Imminence live sound was very muddy. I had trouble recognizing any of the songs until they got to a hook or chorus. Openers sounded crispy clean by comparison, so the venue had nothing to do with it. That being said: Imminence’s energy was great, their theatrics and stage presence were a lot of fun to watch, and the setlist was exactly what you’d want with a mix of new and old tracks. I hope they crisp up their live sound in the future!
