Great venue at the Paramount Theater. Great comedy show!
We had such an amazing time at the illiza shlesinger show. She’s classy and tasteful but still is able to tell jokes that truly make you laugh out loud with out making anybody feel uncomfortable or unwanted So easy to relate to just a great show and we will definitely buy tickets to watch her again live.
I think maybe better to wait for her specials where she's had time to work out all of her material.
Can't get much better than Iliza.... always on topic in sync with current happenings. Excellent delivery, aware of her audience reactions. Like a fined tune instrument.
We loved Illiza! We will see her again for sure. I gave it a four star due to the sound. The mics were very loud! I mean really loud! Shrilly. It hurt my ears when the opening announcement was done! My husband looked me and said WTH! We are not old and not sensitive to sound. It really was loud! The woman next to me jumped and covered her ears and said oh geez! So it wasn’t just us. Hope they fix that. Otherwise 5 stars on the talent!!
Iliza is hilarious, there’s no doubt there. She had this long talk that felt like it went on forever about bringing awareness to important topics and I’m not for it. I paid to laugh, not for a TedTalk or a fundraiser. If she wants to support a cause, great. But find the appropriate crowd, event and venue to do that at. Not in a show where you’re being paid to make people laugh. Comedy for me is about taking a break from seriousness but when she invited all that into the room it left a bad taste in my mouth. If she hadn’t done that, it would have been a 5 star rating, hands down.
I’ve been a longtime fan, seen her Netflix specials, and I’m so glad I went to see her live. She is telling like it really is from a female perspective and nit only is she right in but she’s damn funny too! #AIA #Shedragon #PartyGoblin
We laughed the entire time. She was wonderful and very pregnant. Some of her bits are pretty energetic and got her a bit out of breath. Wife and I had a great time.
Show was amazing 👏 such a great time illza was so funny 😁 I highly recommend
Iliza is so awesome it was my first time seeing Iliza live and even though she was PREGNANT AND SICK at the same time, she still did NOT disappoint! I feel like she is one of the smartest comics I've ever seen in the way that she breaks down and articulates the situations and topics she talks about. I think one day she could be right up there with the best like Dave Chappelle, George Carlin and other great comics like those. She's definitely one of the best out there RIGHT NOW. She's a Top 5 comedian for sure. Anyway, I really appreciate her work and I wish her the best.
Iliza put on an amazing show. It was fun and hilarious while she also talks about important social topics. I would highly recommend and definitely go again
We had a server from upstairs take us upstairs to order food and bev to avoid the line. Which was great. Security was a different story . Was there 2 days prior to see kesha and it was easy and friendly and not full of confusion, totally different experience. I'll take the group scheduled for kesha
Iliza Shlesinger was fantastic! An evening full of laughs and great material for everyone to enjoy. The show unfortunately started later than previously scheduled (almost an hour), but in the end people were able to make it. Overall, I strongly recommend checking Iliza Shlesinger out!!
Iliza is always great. Venue is clean and well staffed. Security was evident but not overly complicated or time consuming. Staff was helpful and kind. Refreshments we a bit of a pain with only two stations with really really long lines.
This was my second time seeing Iliza at DAR and she killed it. We laughed so much. This is gonna be one of her best specials, up there with Elder Millenial and Confirmed Kills.
I have been a fan since elder millennial. We listen to her podcast every week. I was nervous bc I have never been to any comedy show and ilizia DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I wanna see her again, hunter was great too. I kept hearing her talk about hunter this and hunter that. He got us ready to see her. I want to see more of him as well
The timing was a little delayed, i think the turnover from one show to the next was clunky. I think the venue was just understaffed, it’s not a big deal! The show was great. The opener, Hunter, was super funny. Iliza was amazing as always. I was worried about taking my bf bc i realize he is not the main audience for a female comedian who talks about women’s issues but he really enjoyed it.
Iliza never fails! Between seeing her Netflix specials to seeing her live, I’m always cracking up. Love her!!
Iliza Shlesinger Is a world class comedian who flavors her performance with local references, engages her audience and speaks openly with great humor on current topics. Kudos to her for her continued USO performances to bring laughter and humor to our military in far away places as she travels the globe!
