II Volo is an Italian operatic pop trio formed in Italy in 2010. The members of the trio are Gianluca Ginoble on baritone and Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto on tenor. The three members met in 2009 while competing in the singing competition show Ti lascio una canzone. In 2010 they released their debut studio album self-titled II Volo. The album charted at number 6 in Italy and charted in a number of other countries. They have since released the albums We Are Love, Buon Natale: The Christmas Album, L’amore si muove, Ámame, and Musica. They have also released four live albums, two EPs, and a compilation album. In 2015 they won the Sanremo Music Festival and represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria, coming in third.
Il Volo have finalised recording their latest project, dedicated to Morricone, which was released by Sony Music worldwide end of 2021.
IL Volo is currently touring worldwide and will be in Australia performing in Melbourne on Tuesday 18th October and Sydney on Monday 24th October 2022
Our seats were in mezzanine 3 and they were far from the stage. The sound was so good as we were in the Dolby Theater. We used binoculars to see Il Volo up close. Even being at the top of the theater we truly enjoyed the concert.
Been a fan for a long time. They were worth waiting for but hope they will be retuning soon. I can still hear them singing and it was last Saturday I hear them and its now Tuesday.
If they decide too, they could start singing like Frank, but the current higher range would be missed. If Pavaroti was still with us he would be challenged. They are and have been a favorite of mine, thank goodness for Facebook which is were I first heard them. The ski is the limit for their voices and continued success. LOVE to all three of them.

These three young men have grown exponentially since they first appeared when they were in their teens - -Who would have thought they could get any better ? - -But they have! With voices still as amazing as ever, now they have developed their individual personalities, as well as their repertoire. They sing something for everyone - - and the crowd, as usual - - goes WILD!!! Truly a pleasure - -I can't wait to see and hear them again - They are remarkable and the very best in entertainment
Seats were not what I ordered! I ended up at the last row of a section in the nosebleed balcony.
Admissions process was very organized and helpful. There was more than sufficient help at the gates and in the main lobby to direct people to various sections of the theatre. The lower mezzanine level where we sat offered us a clear view of the stage, however, it certainly would've helped to have had huge TV screens situated on both the left and right sides of the stage to give us a close-up view of the Il Volo trio. We could hear them clearly, but of course they appeared very small on stage. The theatre itself was a good venue for their performance for there wasn't a crowded feeling even when nearly every seat in the mezzanine was occupied. Il Volo itself didn't disappoint us. The group performed spectacularly, such special entertainers, as expected, and their voices simply resounded throughout the theatre. I have always been impressed by each of their voices, different from one another, well-trained, yet they just know how to blend...not to outdo each other, but to sing out as a super trio. Now that's unique and one-of-a-kind. Very moving. We traveled from Hawaii especially to attend the concert, and it was more than worth it to see and hear them perform in person. It would've been complete if there had been programs available. Would've made good souvenirs. And if there was a Meet-and-Greet that night, I didn't see such an event on the website when we purchased tickets. Would've capped the evening if I had been able to take a picture with them. Overall, I wouldn't miss another of their performances when they return to California! Outstanding Job!!!
It was awesome! All three of them sing beautiful. They sang all of the best songs and the atmosphere was great. It doesn’t hurt that they aren’t bad to look at either. Lol Love il voló!!!!
The performance by Il Volo was amazing and inspirational. Their singing transports the listener into another world. The men have exceptional talent and provide an enjoyable evening. My only criticism is with the sound technician who I believe must a=suffer from hearing loss. The technician obviously is not affected by the extreme volume since his/her hearing is already damaged. There were times when the volume was so loud that it distorted Il Volo's voices. Just because a sound system can be loud doesn't equate to better. I would expect ear pounding sound when at a rock concert with electronic instruments. However, amplifying an acoustic orchestra and singers to the point that people feel pain in their ears - is not art. It's abuse and takes away from a beautiful experience. I never thought that I should bring ear plugs to an acoustic concert.
Such varied talent between them that blends beautifully, whether all 3 together, in duos or in their solo performances. Stunning all around. Unfortunately, Dolby Theatre sound system, or their’s, was too hot and distorted and diminished the clarity of their vocals some. The girls screaming at inappropriate times was annoying and disrespectful of the guys. Otherwise, spectacular show.
I am grateful that we have these three young and talented artists in our world today. They take us to a place where we experience culture and talent; which is so rare these days. Thank you, IL VOLO. You are admired and respected for the choices you've made for your career.
The concert was fantastic! IL Volo never disappoints. 2 1/2 hours with no intermission! I’ve seen them 4 times and can’t wait to see them again!
The concert was great. IL Volo was extremely entertaining and did a fantastic job. The Music Selection, the singing, the banter, and crowd interactions were top notch. The VIP instructions were marginal. The venue was worse. You had to check in by 6:45 pm. Check in table not clearly marked an not where it was supposed to be (a little annoyance) We had to leave the phone on a table to be screened for security but they wanted the phone to scan for tickets. That doesn’t work well But then you had to wait to go in. The Dolby Theater (at least on the level we entered in) had no place to sit but then had stand and wait for 40 plus minutes until they opened the theater And be able to sit. 1/2 way through the show people were shown to seats just in front of us. The one person was noisy and rude. He was vaping and blowing the vapor (I’m sure affecting more than just me). I told him to stop, he did for a few minutes but started again. There is no way to contact security.
Il Volo is fantastic. Wish there had been screens on the sides to allow us to see them better and to see when they went out into the audience. Leaving the theatre was a real nightmare. Hundreds of people crowding to pay at the kiosks, many of which were out of order or cash only. The escalators led directly into the crowd of thousands and people couldn't get off, leading to a very dangerous and scary mob mess! We decided to just go to our car and pay on the way out but weren't even able to back our car out of the parking space so we just walked around for about 45 minutes. At that point all the bathrooms were locked! Went back to the car and spent 1 hour and 45 minutes (not exaggerating!) snaking slowly through the parking structure following hundreds (thousands?) of other cars. Nightmare! I love Il Volo, but I will avoid the Dolby Theatre venue in the future.
Il Volo is one of my favorite groups.. .they are wonderful! I saw them in person the first time 2-1/2 years ago and was so impressed with them that I bought tickets for this event. They give you chills with their talent and they and their personalities are so cute. I also follow them on Facebook.
I can’t begin to say how great Il Volo was. This was to me the best concert I’ve ever attended. (We’ve been to many). My wife and I did not want the night to end. What voices on the young men of Il Volo! Everything was beautiful, from the orchestra to the venue. We loved the fact that Il Volo came out to be with the public. My wife even hugged and kissed Ignazio as he walked by our seats. How humble these gentlemen are. My wife and I will never forget this night. Thank you God Bless Il Volo 🙏

This was the third time I have seen their show. They just get better and better. This was my second visit to the Dolby Theater. I wish they had jumbo screens like other venues. It’s nice to get a closer view when you don’t have a great seat. I saw ail Volo at the Microsoft Theater in 2020, and I liked that venue better.
Best concert ever. This young group is 100% Amazing. Their voices are out of this world. Love them!
Wonderful, magnificent, magical!!!!’ The Dolby venue is perfect. The tiered seating gives everyone a good stage view. Sound is great and of course the theater is beautiful. The trio is the best. Their ability to perform pop and opera provides a wonderful listening experience. BRAVO!!!!
