II Volo is an Italian operatic pop trio formed in Italy in 2010. The members of the trio are Gianluca Ginoble on baritone and Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto on tenor. The three members met in 2009 while competing in the singing competition show Ti lascio una canzone. In 2010 they released their debut studio album self-titled II Volo. The album charted at number 6 in Italy and charted in a number of other countries. They have since released the albums We Are Love, Buon Natale: The Christmas Album, L’amore si muove, Ámame, and Musica. They have also released four live albums, two EPs, and a compilation album. In 2015 they won the Sanremo Music Festival and represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria, coming in third.
Il Volo have finalised recording their latest project, dedicated to Morricone, which was released by Sony Music worldwide end of 2021.
IL Volo is currently touring worldwide and will be in Australia performing in Melbourne on Tuesday 18th October and Sydney on Monday 24th October 2022
These young men did an amazing job. They have such fabulous voices and they are very good together. They kid with each other and have a little fun all the while, entertaining us with the most wonderful voices. If they came back I would go to see them again. They really put on a fabulous show. The background video that played was distracting and not necessary. I enjoyed the show though.

Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio have very beautiful voices! Loved the classic Italian songs (and the Spanish songs)! Would love to hear them live again. This trio is amazing now at only 16 and 17 years. One can only imagine their sound in a few years! Can't wait.
Wow! This show really did take off and fly - all evening!!! These three young men have amazing gifts to share with the world. I left the theatre at the end of the eveing with a feeling of joy, a song in my heart, and the need to get home to find tickets for Milwaukee!
This was a great show! These boys can sing! They are adoarble and their banter between sets is so funny! I would love to see costume changes.....but I was wowed more than I ever thought!
Great voices..,one was greater than the other! Worth the 3 hour drive to dee them.
Il Volo's vocal talents were far beyond what I originally bargained for. It was like having Mario Lanza{Piero], Michael Buble{Gianlucca}, and Jimmy Roselli{Ignazio},all in the same venue. Their showmanship and coordination further added to a perfect vocal performance. Their opening act,Diva Montell, far exceeded what an opening act would do and she deserves her own venue and main event,as the Midwest's best female vocalist.
What an amazing group of young men. I hope to see them again sometime soon. Maybe in Milwaukee later this month.

The Chicago Theater is an elegant setting and Il Volo brought class and a fun performance. They had the audience eating out of their hands!. The band was a bit too over powering at times.but the acousitcs were very good otherwise. Il volo at Chicago Theater was a match made in music heaven! The thrill of a lifetime! I will go see them again, anytime!..
These 3 young men were amazing...their voices blended so well together! Would definitely see them again when they come to Chicago!

A definite must see, no excuses. These young mens voices are so beautiful and flawless. They truly enjoy what they do and it shows, their live performance was as good as or better than their cd. I generally listen to classic rock and was surprised when I had tears in my eyes a few times that evening, Absolutely beautiful music and beautiful voices. Can't wait for the next cd
Il Volo...great performance and great stage presence despite the fact that they had only a limited command of the English language....surprisingly wonderful audience interaction as part of the performance.....the opening act (female singer) could have been shorter...she is talented but an hour long performance was just a bit much

What an amazing group in terms of their musicality! Their voices were beautiful and blended incredibly. Their personalities were very engaging. I found the background and videos a bit distracting. Also, with more experience, I hope their choreography will become more natural. It seemed all they did was go up and down the six sets of stairs on stage.stairs. All in all, the concert was a 4.5/5.
I took my 83 year old mother for her birthday and we were not disappointed! I think they need new staging as we found the constant movies in the background distracting. What an awesome talent the guys are. I think this is just the beginning of a very good future for them whether they remain as a group or not.
Outstanding concert in Chicago! Loved that they sang individually as well. Hope these boys got a chance to enjoy this beautiful city.
I got home at 1:00 after waiting for one hour. The singer was good but did not come to see her. No one announced a delay so we just sat there. The show was good.
This was one of the best concerts I have been to. They sounded just as good, if not better, than they do on their CD. They are amazing singers and I hope I get to see them again. I would, and have, recommended them to my friends.
