About

II Volo is an Italian operatic pop trio formed in Italy in 2010. The members of the trio are Gianluca Ginoble on baritone and Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto on tenor. The three members met in 2009 while competing in the singing competition show Ti lascio una canzone. In 2010 they released their debut studio album self-titled II Volo. The album charted at number 6 in Italy and charted in a number of other countries. They have since released the albums We Are Love, Buon Natale: The Christmas Album, L’amore si muove, Ámame, and Musica. They have also released four live albums, two EPs, and a compilation album. In 2015 they won the Sanremo Music Festival and represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria, coming in third. 

Il Volo have finalised recording their latest project, dedicated to Morricone, which was released by Sony Music worldwide end of 2021.

IL Volo is currently touring worldwide and will be in Australia performing in Melbourne on Tuesday 18th October and Sydney on Monday 24th October 2022

    I took my mom to see Il Volo in Niagra Falls. They are her absolute favourite. It was her dream to see them perform live. We were not disappointed. My mom was mesmerized the whole show. The guys from Il Volo are extremely talented. I will go again if they come back on their next world tour and take mom. She said there is nothing like seeing them live. It brought tears to her eyes she was so joyful and delighted. We got the VIP experience. It was wonderful to meet them in person and tell them how wonderful they were. We also got to get our picture taken with them. My mom was disappointed Gianluca didn't smile in the pictures. She did tell him how adorable he was though as he is her favourite.

    Il Volo's concert was spectacular, outstanding, marvelous...just wished they had gone into audience. The fine print on my ticket telling about my merchandise package was terrible and I never saw it till after the concert and I never was able to know when and where to pick up my merchandise package--there were no signs directing me there and I didn't see any place to pick it up, so I assumed they were going to send it to me which they didn't...as of right now, I don't have my merchandise package...i paid for two VIP tickets...my seat was directly on the right side facing the stage..I was happy with my seats and the concert--seeing the screen made it more memorable...

    Not only I had wonderful orchestra seats but just to be there, to listen to Il Volo live was an unforgetable experience. If I did not have to fly back home I would have gone to their second night which opened up later. I highly recommend this show for any lover of good live music regardless of your musical style!

    I first saw them in 2018 in a smaller venue! They were awesome then and with learning more songs & speaking English it was even better! These young men put on a show that sings to your heart! Loved every minute!!
