Stood in line for 45 minutes in 30 degree temps to get in because they only had 2 lines to get through metal detectors at the west gate. After 30 minutes they opened up a couple more. It was the first game of the day on Saturday. No excuse.
Attend the Indiana High School division 4A state finals. A little confusion by the Lucas Oil staff. Home to team was to enter via West gate, but ended up being seated on the East side of the stadium. Other than this, everything was fine. Staff at Lucas Oil were welcoming and helpful.
Ticketmaster double charged my credit card, for 4 tickets instead of 2.
Loved how Center Grove won their back-to-back 6A State Championship. First time a 6A team has accomplished this in Indiana State Football history.
We got in line outside anxious to see the 6A championship game 30 minutes before the game was supposed to start. We remained in line for over an HOUR. So, we were freezing, had to go to the bathroom and missed the start of the game!! What a disaster!!
Loved sitting on the 50 yard line at Lucas Oil and watching a high school football championship game.
The IHSAA should be embarrassed about the procedure to get into the stadium. Got in line on the east entrance and took over 30 minutes to get into the stadium. Then the process to get into a seat was terrible with security guards holding people back, totally a cloud pile event.
Why did it take so long to go through security? The line was ridiculous. Took a very long time.
We arrived about 615, 45 minutes early and did not get into the venue until 745. The event began at 700. Due to the tensions of the wait there were many incidents amongst fans in the line that were very inappropriate for young children. Yelling cursing bullying. The venue seemed completely unable to manage the size of the event despite its much smaller than a colts game. Very disappointed.
Doors opened at 11:00 am. Got in line on home side. Entered facility at 11:45am. They only had one gate open for much of that time. Visitor side had 5 lines open. In pregame video, every Mater Dei player and coach had incorrect name or spelling errors.

It was a great day all around. Easy to get into Lucas Oil, food was great and fast and the general admission worked perfectly.
I would much rather print a ticket or buy from our school. I am not tech savvy and had to have my son do it
Getting into the venue was ridiculous. We arrived at Lucas Oil at 10:15am. There was only 1 gate open for the parking lot which caused traffic to back up around the stadium waiting to get in. We didn't reach the parking lot till about 10:35am. We went to stand in line at the entry gates. When they opened the gates to let us in, they only opened 3 gates and it took over 1/2 an hour to get in because people who had been waiting outside at the multiple gates all had to merge into one of the 3 gates that were opened. The event it self was wonderful and we had a great time, but there definitely should have been a better way to get into the parking lot and venue.
Great seats! Felt very safe and everyone was very helpful and polite. Clean.
Everything was great except that there should have been a better system to get one game’s fans out and the next game’s fans in.
Everything was Great. Won the 3A Class Championship with a comeback win. Wonderful atmosphere.
General admission tickets normally mean we could watch multiple games. No so, apparently. Communication with event ushers was sporadic; many fans were rude as well. Inconsistent in granting entrance to seats.
I went for the 1A,3A,& 5A state finals. The games were awesome as always!!!
It was my son’s first visit. He was so amazed of the place.
