Great lineup, but mix needed help. Twenty One Pilots dialed it in about the second song. Weezer nailed it. The Killers mix after Weezer was less impactful. Muse was spot on. Also the wait between bands needed to be shortened. That’s what the revolving stage is for. We don’t need commercials at a rock show.
Alter Ego was AMAZING!! Such a fun night and THE KILLERS were awesome!!! I loved all the bands but THE KILLERS, WEEZER, and MUSE were AMAZING!!! Great show!!!🖤
Best line up I have ever seen!! but I think Twenty One Pilots opening the show was a mistake, they were my favorite of the night and I really think that the mood was totally down with the Revivilist after TOP, even tho I think they are a good band, you can't put them after TOP and to expect they can keep up with the same strenght of TOP, besides that I think the show was totally awesome! BTW band's merchindise was beyond poor. XoXo
iHeart Radio and ALT 98.7 did a greatjob with organizing the event. The Woody Show acts outside the Forum, the food trucks, and the beer garden gave it a very festival like atmosphere. My only criticism is that some of the pre-show time could have been allocated to headliner performances as each bands set time was a bit short.
Was a fantastic night, the only bad thing was the shortened show of muse at the end, was a cold end to the night, i was expecting at least 1 encore but you didnt give them time to even play Knights of Cydonia, their classical closure song.
All of the acts at the AlterEgo2019 were fabulous- my problem with the show was the set up, specifically the seating. Your typical rock show has an open floor plan in front of the stage- this allows for moshing, dancing, jumping- in short, having a great time. The seats were so terribly jam packed onto the floor at AlterEgo, there was no room to move, and in turn this absolutely killed the energy in the audience. I couldn't move without elbowing my neighbor in the face. In the future I would hope to see at least a little bit of standing room on the floor, so the circle pit can pump up the energy in the arena.
Having multiple bands on stage in one night and the hype from everybody at each time each band came on and yes I'm ready for next year's line-up I will be purchasing tickets for it
The set times were too short for the bigger bands. The price for parking is ridiculously expensive. The aisle between my seats and the stage was used for floor seat people to go up and down during the whole show so it was was a bother because the show was constantly being blocked by people just standing in the aisle. Not enough mobile vendors were going through the aisles so we had to miss part of the show to get refreshments. The women’s restroom lines were very long. The men’s restroom had no paper towels. The music was great but the amenities could use some improvement.
Excellent job by All who made this event possible. Thanks to the major artists who performed unique sets.
Everything was great with the exception of the porta-potty. Water to wash your hands had run out and the porta potty was just a mess. Upside, show was amazing!! Can't wait for next year!
Ok guys, so this was actually my first concert ever!!! And it was so much fun to watch so many of the bands I grew up listening to. Twenty one pilots is my favorite band, so that was unreal to see them live 😭! The smaller bands were so cool to watch, I learned so many new songs😻! Bishop briggs was so cute I swear. OKAY and don’t even get me started on the last 3 bands I freakin lost my stuff. They are legendsssss. Thankyou to Alt 98.7 for this awesome experience! I can’t wait to see the line up for next year 🤪💛!!!!!
