Ian Lara is one of the hottest rising comics in New York City. Last year, he taped a set for "Comedy Central Stand up Featuring" which has garnered over 10 million views, he also made an appearance on the first season of "NBC's Bring the Funny" and made his late-night debut on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He was a regular player on 'This week at the Comedy Cellar' on Comedy Central with his second Comedy Central set hitting the 10 million views mark yet again. He's been featured in The New Yorker Magazine and you can catch his short special streaming on HBO MAX titled "LA MEETS NY". Keeping the momentum going he was named one of 2021 "JFL NEW FACES of comedy" the same week he recorded his debut Comedy Central half-hour special. In 2022, he's already signed on to do another half hour comedy special for HBO MAX produced by Entre Nos and made his second Tonight Show appearance in October.

    Took my husband to Punch Line to see Ian Lara for his birthday. We both hadn't seen any of his shows yet but I had seen a couple clips on YouTube and figured it would be a pretty good show. But this night definitely exceeded my expectations! We laughed the entire time. My voice was horse afterwards. Ian Lara was hilarious! The comedian that performed right before him, she was from Austin, TX and was pretty funny too! It sucks I can't remember her name! But we really enjoyed our night!

    Such a great show! Ian has a wonderful vibe and is an amazing story teller. Speaking on todays dating issues, very relatable. Would definitely recommend.

    I have seen Ian twice now and he's hilarious. He has such a cool spin on every day topics, and I love his delivery style. My prediction is that he will be selling out theatres mid 2024 - the dude is talented!

    Great show with hilarious comedians, even the local opener. I just wish the venue itself had a better snack selection (you're going to need to fill your bag with food before you go in there).

    Ian Lara was ON last Saturday night!!! His show is hilarious! He has really funny material, perfect comedic timing and an on-stage presence that is dynamic and appealing in every way. Go see him while his tickets are still affordable. This guy is going to be a superstar!

    Mr. Lara's set was excellent! He had us consistently laughing from the time he got on the stage up to the point where he was supposed to get off but decided to hang with the crowd a little longer. When the crowd engaged with him his comebacks were quick and effortless. I would defintely support another of his shows & I've already encouraged everyone I know to go see him when they get a chance.
