IAMX Tickets

This was the 2nd time I went to see IamX. I never understand why their show held in such small venue (a club), considering the level of the quality of his music, though I appreciate the intimacy of the small venue. The place was packed and despite 2.5 hr wait, the cloud was excited. The show was energetic and beautiful. Same as the last time, I felt IamX show was worth x3 the price of the ticket.

We'll probably never know if it was the venues fault or the bands fault, but either way, being forced to stand for nearly two hours, waiting for IAMX and co. to finally hit the stage was ridiculous! Then, to top that off, the stage was clearly WAY too small for the band and their performance, and the lighting was soooo bad, that we hardly got to actually see any of the show at all! All in all, I was expecting a great deal more from a performer who has such a great reputation for being a true showman. There is no way I would buy tickets to see IAMX at a standing room only venue again. Or, is this the kind of treatment that one should expect these days, when a show's tickets don't cost nearly $100?

Incredible, as always. I can't wait for IAMX to return to Los Angeles. I had been waiting since 2008 to see IAMX again in Los Angeles, and they were definitely worth the wait.

The best moment in my life!! I loved IAMX but I am totally and ridiculously OBSESSED. Not just a concert, soooo much more. A must see live band!!!!!!

IAMX put on an amazing show. It goes beyond the music. It is visuals, atmosphere and spirit. It is rare when a band can take the entire audience on a journey outside the body. Nothing in everyday life compares; work, sitting in LA traffic, trips to the grocery store or the gym, my heart and mind are still with IAMX. Absolutely amazing!

I have been listening to IAMX since his first album came out when I was in middle school, and he has only been to Southern California once since I fell in level with his music until this show, and I missed it, so this show was a go or die kind of deal. Over the years IAMX has remained my favorite artist and I was hoping more than anything that the show would be good and it blew away all my expectations. Chris Corner is electric and mesmerizing and the five of them put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. This show made me fall in love with them even more, which I didn't think was possible. The venue was also awesome, love the sodomy painted on the walls and the old stage theatre feel.

The Fonda is one of my favorite venues in Hollywood, the decor is really nice and it even has a roof top patio and lounge area with a bar giving you a nice view of Hollywood blvd, it's a good place to hangout before the show. I've waited over 6 years to see IAMX live since I missed out on the last time they played LA so when I heard the announcement on Facebook I was really excited! The show was amazing the atmosphere and the love was so strong everyone was dancing and having a blast! When the night came to an end I was sad I didn't want it to end! I can really say that show is one of my top 5 best shows I been too, I live being able to see a great band at the Fonda!

IAMX/ Cris Corner's performance was absolutely amazing- he has the voice of an angel. He sounded even better than the albums. I had been waiting to see him perform live for somewhere around 6 years because I missed the last time he was in the states. It was everything I could have dreamed for and more. They put on a fantastic show, and even performed multiple encores of some of my favorite songs of theirs.

For my first time seeing IAMX play live, their are the best band to play live. Ever! It was well worth waiting in line for almost ten hours. I would see them again in a heartbeat. Listening to music live is like have the best sex ever! ;)

My third time seeing IAMX. Chris Corner and the band just keep getting better. His voice is stronger and more effective than ever. The show was electrifying with the rabid fans singing the lyrics and dancing to the heavy synth and live freestyle drums. Visually the show was good although perhaps not as good as the last tour. The set featured some of the strongest songs from IAMX's catalog. After 3 ovations everyone went home satisfied they had seen one of the best live perfomance acts in the world today.

Sheer and utter perfection. Easily the best show I've been to in a long time. Chris Corner's vocals were flawless! The Fonda is always an enjoyable venue. Drinks at the bar were very weak and expensive, though.

This is a favorite band of my husband's so I bought tickets for him as a gift.... I'm now a total fan myself - IAMX were AMAZING! Anyone in a band should go see them if you want to learn how to engage with the audience and put on an energetic & powerful performance. Excellent.

Fantastic energy, very visual. Chris and the band were electric and played a nice variety of songs. Great night.

One of the greatest shows I've seen in a long time. Amazing stage presence and fantastic sound.

They put on a high-energy show, definitely showing their passion for their music... which rocks! The venue was very enjoyable for the amount of people there. There wasn't a bad "seat" and the band was all over for a great experience. Only down part was some of the unfriendliness in the crowd. I saw a middle age man, relatively well dressed up close shove a girl who had squeezed out the crowd behind him before (he hadn't noticed) and was getting back to her group. It's a concert guy; no need for that and pushing a woman is not cool. We're all there to enjoy a similar like and that is our common bond. She played it off and otherwise the night, and the band, were excellent!

Awesome show! The set list was great.. I won't post it because I believe when seeing and gig it should be spontaneous and a surprise!
