Fun time at Joe Davis Stadium watching HCFC win their soccer game.
Awesome to see HC FC win again at home and what a win. From the first score within the first 30 seconds to the final 4-2 score, this was great futball. Sad to see so many empty seats in the stadium as these guys play their hearts out for us. Hope Huntsville will come to realize what a gift we have with our own pro-soccer club and will come out to support in greater numbers real soon.
Sat on the lawn and enjoyed it with our little boy. He had room to stand and play and we were close to restrooms and food. Great proximity to the action. Can’t wait to go back!
Took my great grandson. He loves soccer and he was so excited. We both really enjoyed our experience. Food was the only let down
The rebuild of the old stadium surpassed my expectations. I really enjoyed the caliber of soccer. I was not happy with the fact that there is no elevator on east section of the stadium, and there was no concession venders on the upper east side of the stadium, this is a problem for seniors and those with mobility issues. We were not allowed to pass through the hall that connected the west section of the stadium. Maybe a retrofit can be done to rectify this issue. Other then that totally awesome.
I used to live in Huntsville and I visit frequently to see my parents. This was only their 2nd game. Easy venue to get to, get into and get out of. Make sure you don’t carry a purse or bag that is too big. Had to run back to the car. Exciting new pro sport for Huntsville and the community is welcoming the new experience. I recommend checking it out at the newly renovated Joe Davis Stadium. Wishlist…Wish the big screen showed replays and the food/drink options are limited-may want to eat before you arrive (long lines too, a little slow on checking out). The parking is a little unclear. Prepaid shows section/row, but there aren’t any sections or rows on signs. Also they bottle-neck three entry lines of traffic into one lot/line, which creates a bit of a slow entry from any direction and confusion at the roundabout where they all meet.
Since your ticket is only on your phone, I saw a lot of people taking empty seats that they had not purchased. Also, the parking was kind of frustrating with only one exit to get out. It could be managed better than that.
It was fun and exciting watching the first home game. It didn’t hurt that we won also.
Great game. Kelly renovated venue. Enthusiastic crowd. And they win their home opener!
