Baby-faced country star Hunter Hayes may be young, but he can hang tough with the best of 'em come showtime. The talented singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist is a one man powerhouse, playing virtually every instrument and assuming production duties on his self-titled No. 1 debut. His precocity extends to the stage, where his silky croon and boyish good looks are matched by his equally impressive energy and showmanship. Hayes knocked fans' socks off at his shows in 2013, and with a sophomore album set for release in 2014, his upcoming tour dates are sure to be no different.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Hunter Hayes got an early start in music, taking up the accordion at age two and giving his first performances at age four. By age seven he had performed for Bill Clinton at the White House, and by age 13 he was singing away on America's Most Talented Kids. These would be end-of-career highlights for many performers, but for Hayes they were just the beginning. After opening for Taylor Swift on tour and penning songs for country icons Rascal Flatts, Hayes released his self-titled, self-produced debut album in 2011. The album peaked at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart and spawned several chart-topping singles, including his first No. 1 "Wanted." Since then, Hayes has racked up more awards and accolades than most performers twice his age, including a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and a CMT Artist of the Year award.

He's new. He's adorable. He's extremely sincere. You can't help but love watching him onstage, you can tell he not only truly loves being up there but also is sincerely grateful to the fans for allowing him to do it. His band is also great and hilarious. He puts on a good show and you can see he has a ton of potential to make it big. I will definitely go see him again.
Hunter was great, he is all grown up and has the same energy he had as a 3 year old playing the accordion. He can only mature and become an even greater entertainer!! Very proud to say he is from Breaux Bridge, LA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hunter's sold out concert was simply awesome. The Rice Theater is a concert goer's dream due to it's size. The acoustics in that place are an added plus. Top all that off with the Best New and Upcoming Talent the country is just beginning to experience (of course we have known about this young man's talent since he was very young) and it couldn't be anything but an AMAZING experience.
Hunter Hayes was AWESOME in concert Tuesday night. The theater was small enough that every seat was GREAT! He played for two hours and played EVERY song on his new CD! He was very appreciative of what has come his way and he thanked his family and local fans for being with him since he was 4 years old. One of the many high points was when Hunter played three songs acoustically as you could see how talented he is. He brought a special guest to help him sing his new song for the updated "Footloose" movie as well as Wayne Toupes to sing Wayne's "Please Explain". Hunter covered this song many times in the local venues that he played as he was growing up. After the concert, Hunter took the time out to sign autographs and take pictures with anyone who stayed behind. It takes a lot for me to attend a concert in the middle of the week, but this one was sure worth it.
Awesome show !!!!! My kids and myself enjoyed every part of his show. We would certainly go and see him again if and when he returns to the area. Really think he should be in the line up for bayou country superfest in the coming years. Thanks for a great show.

Possibly the best concert I've ever seen! Hunter Hayes is an amazing artist and performer. His love for his music and what he is doing shows throughout the whole concert. And his love for his fans is evident. He took the time to meet and greet everyone after the show. He is a very personable young man.
I had a blast watching Hunter sing! He's an amazingly talented artist who's making his way to the top. I got to meet his band members, sign his tour equipment and take a picture with him, it was great! ;)
The music was great. The venue was perfect. He was so gracious. He even signed autographs after the show. My daughter and niece got to take a picture with him. It was definitely an event they will not forget.
This was Hunter's first ever sold-out show! It was a great performance with two special guests he brought on stage, Ramsey Leigh and Wayne Toups. This is the stage that Hunter grew up on and has performed so many times over the years, he just gets better every time he performs there.

Hunter Hayes was amazing!! It was one of the best concerts I have been too! And the fact that he came out and did autographs was really cool and I didn't expect him to do that. He was really nice and he seemed really down to earth. I would defenitely go see him again!
Hunter Hayes put on an amazing concert. He say every song from his album and then some other songs as well. He has an awesome voice and is very talented. Would see him again for sure!
The Hunter Hayes concert was absolutely amazing! He was so good and connected with the crowed! He did an unbelieveable job and I cannot wait for him to come back to Michigan soon!! :D
I loved his show. Didn't like the setup completely. There was almost no seats and had to contend with a bunch of teenage girls standing by the stage to see. So over all I loved him and his part but Clutch Cargo's not so much. I don't think I will go to another concert at Clutch Cargo's but I would love to go see Hunter again. He was great at looking at everyone and making everyone feel he was taking a moment for each person there. My daughter enjoyed it as well, I wish it wasn't middle of the week so we could have stayed for the meet and greet afterwards :(
Issue picking up tickets @ WILL CALL -- other than that we had a great evening. 3 Moms & 3 teenage girls who all LOVE Hunter Hayes! He has great talent -- definitely a rising star. Needed more chairs for the parents to sit in.
