I gave it a star for the creative lighting and skilled talent, but the choice of content was disturbing, as many parents had brought their children, expecting a light-hearted event. The show starts with a drunken father cursing and beating his son- although true to the book, we should have had more warning.

The props were very minimal, not the quality of other shows we've attended. There were a total of approximately 6 actors. They each did a great job of reciting thier lines, but it just wasn't enough to keep it interesting. The southern accents they used made it difficult to understand what was being said. I can only imagine how people near the back of the theatre managed to keep up....
