My son is 21 years old and has Autism. He absolutely LOVED the play!
This was a great show. Our 8 year old grandsons were mesmerized. It was funny ....the actors were wonderful and the costumes were incredibile. It was well worth the 2nd row tickets. We love Casa for kids.
The play was fun and the songs were clever. We have a 5 year old daughter and she loved it. Thanks for putting on a great show. The little boy who played Jeromy Jacob did a stupendous job along with the other talented cast members. I've been praising the play since we saw it.
The performance was very good for a childrens' play. The setup of the venue is very inviting with the round stage. Singing was good.
What an adorable play. My kids (ages 4 and 7) both loved it. We were in from out of state, but will always check the Casa schedule when we come to town!
My grandson and I had a fantastic time feeling like part of the pirate crew! The characters were great and the story line was every child's dream! We loved the fun songs and how the cast included the audience in the action!
Show lasted the perfect amount of time for young attention spans.
I took my 6 year old grandson, and it kept his attention. It also had dialogue that he could understand. He especially liked what Pirates never do, like change diapers, didn't brush their teeth, so their teeth were green. At the end, he wanted to join Casa kids summer program, but had to wait until he was 8.
Fantastic songs and voices. Sparse sets but the story was very thin. We have read the books many times and knew going in the play would not be expansive, but very little characther development and enough action to keep our 3 kids and the audience leaning forward in their seats. More story and drop 1 - 2 songs and it could be a winner.
The show was great! The grandkids ( 3 and 5) loved it.
I took my God Son to this and was expecting to be bored because it was a kids show. It was amazing! I laughed, enjoyed the music and the time flew by!
The cast was amazing even young talented Jeremy Jacob. The pirates take Jeremy on a wonderful adventure about life. It will make you laugh and touch your heart.
The music was great for kids. My 6 year old enjoyed the entire performance. I recommend this to all.
Take your kiddies to this production. Dress them like pirate scalawags. Everyone will have a great time. The set was simple but colorful and let the imagination soar. The costumes perfect. And the singing was extraordinary. Support the Arts. Give Casa Mañana your patronage.
The production of this wonderful book was such a joy to see. My girls had previously done an art adventure with this title and to see how the Children's Theatre interpreted and performed it was so much fun. We look forward to all the remaining performances.
A very good show. Well acted, fairly true to the book. I did not realize that it would be a musical! My kids 5-7-9 all liked it, and they love the book. It would help to read the book before hand, to get some of the "inside" jokes. If only they could have figured out a way to have a shark eat the soccer ball... The young actor who played Jeremy Jacob did a fine job.
