The Monster truck Show was very entertaining! The kids & adults had a great time! Definitely worth the time and money!
For starters when we got there and scanned our tickets they told us that when they started setting up for the show the Hot Wheels teamed deamed the seats we had unsafe so they bumped us to seats that weren't near as good as the $700 we spent in tickets, there was 11 of us. Then the pre show started at 12pm, because of the ticket issue thst ran us 30 minutes late. It was so unorganized when we got down there with no direction of where to go oe what we were doing. They gave us papers that all the kids could go get signed by the driver after waiting in line, or spend $15 on a driver's license, there was nothing engaging for younger kids, we had 2years-11 and they all got bored of it. After that we found our seats and found that they sucked not only our view but the whole section is where they moved everyone that their seats were deamed unsafe so all the people were fussing and cussing the whole time. (These seats weren't sold because they sucked to begin with lol) then the area was just to small and it was drawn out, they could have cut the show in half but it waz a lot of sitting and listening to them talk all the kids got bored and 4 of my group actually left early because the kids were so bored.
The only complaint I have is the crash zone pre-show I paid extra for. There should have been more options for over 2 hours for the kids. My 6 year old got bored. Through a spacewalk in or something
My twin boys age 7 LOVED this show and said it was the best day ever. As adults we found some parts boring but watching the kids scream while the dinosaur ate a car was pretty great. This is not like the other mainstream monster truck show. This is definitely geared toward a younger audience. We loved the motorcycles. Bring ear protection for comfort.
I understand Hot wheels and Monster Jam are two different entities, but we love them both the same. It's disappointing to see Hot Wheels in the smoothie king center. They need to always be in the Super Dome when in NOLA. I feel like they dont have space to be amazing like the show can actually be! Please in the future have it in the dome so its more enjoyable!!
Having monster trucks in the smoothly king center wasn't the best. The arena didn't have enough room for the trucks to move around too much. The show was good for what they had the room for but just wasn't any where close to the monster jam when they had it in the superdome a few years ago.
The Monster Trucks Show was great. It was a surprise for my 5 year old son. He was ecstatic. He was glued to the action the entire time. The motor bike stunt show during the middle of the show was amazing also. The only issue we had was that the line to enter the venue was extremely slow. We arrived 10 minutes prior to the pre-party start time, but we did not get into the party until 30 minutes after it started, so we only had 45 minutes to attend. This did not give us enough time to stand in line for all 6 monster trucks to get an autograph and photo with the drivers.
Bring earplugs or earmuffs for the kids sensitive to the noise. It's fairly loud. Show was good, MCs made it fun and interacted with the audience a lot. 3 of the 7 trucks broke down during the event, which was not a bad thing in the audience, it just meant they were going hard and making a good show. Motorcycles were super cool. Expensive for what it is, but my 3 boys ages 7-21 had fun and were entertained.
I surprised my two grandsons to this event. They had the more exciting experience ever. We really enjoyed the show.
This show was very boring . Totally waste of time. Didn’t even keep the kids interested. My family left before the show ended
Absolute worse monster truck show I have ever seen. My 5 year old nephew was bored with it also. The trucks did not do any real driving at all. They drove over some cars and could not even do good dough nuts. They put led lights on the truck to make them more appealing to kids. Not worth the cost of the tickets. Would not go again even if the tickets were free.
The show should definitely be in a bigger arena or stadium. It was way too loud for kids even with earmuffs. The show itself was not worth the drive or money. All they really did was roll over cars or do donuts. This show doesn’t compare to Monster Jam.
It was a great experience. It brought out the kid out of everyone wither they were young or old. It alot of fun. Great field of Monster Trucks with very friendly Monster truck drivers.
Good afternoon ! Me & My kids had a great time but spent way too much for toys ! $50 on 2 small trucks & a colorful spinning toy $30 food was almost $15 starting off & not even to mention parking was $40 !!!! Geesh but we definitely had an awesome time 😊
This was the first time judging the show 7/10 it was not entertaining at all , tiger shark didn’t even move per usual and that’s who my son came to see . The kids couldn’t get close to the monster trucks to get the full crash party experience. It’s just wasn’t what we expected being our 3rd year
Tickets were overpriced for what the show was. Too much commentary. Trucks didn’t hardly do anything. Commentator said now they gonna do donuts. Well only one truck really did donuts. Was disappointed with the show.
It was our first time going and our kids loved it! We definitely will go again!
It was cool😎 had a great time with my daughter and nephew
It was not wrote the money, One of the trucks broke down. The arena was to small for what they tried to do. IT WAS JUST TERRIBLE!
It wasn't much of a show at all, I wouldn't go to another, maybe the building was to small because they didn't do very much.
