We got (G)I-dle and NCT Dream! Loved it because it gave me the opportunity to see those groups a second time this year. Only went for them!
Bought seats in section 226, with no warning that the stage has a giant back drop on it and we were going to be seated behind the stage, me an my kids couldn't see a damn thing except to what whatever was project onto the screen which we were also seated behind so everything was backwards. Not until after i dropped $135 per ticket did the tickets appear in my Transfer Portal stating "Limited View". Even the Usher working that section said he wasn't sure why they would sell that section for this event given the stage setup. Oh and most people don't consider half dressed performers twerking and grinding the stage and their dancers "Family Friendly"so maybe do better in screening your Acts next time!
The show started on time at 730pm. It lasted almost 4 hrs. My daughter had a wonderful time at her first comcert.
I Like it a lot, a big place A lot of people there too
A rushed, trite, and incoherent show. It was obvious that iHeart wanted to shove its featured acts down our collective throats. Most of the performers sang along with canned instrumental versions of their hit songs. Those who came with bands made it seem as if they were hostages at gunpoint. The most dynamic act was Jelly Roll, and his personal energy seemed wasted on the 99.5 crowd. Oh, that reminds me; the quality of the sound system and the general acoustics were ponderously bad. All in all, a splendid time was had by none.
The performances were so perfect! One thing I really love about Jingle Ball is the variety of artists that are in the lineup every year for each city. It was my first time attending a Jingle Ball andI really enjoyed it!
Overall, it was pretty fun. The arrangement of acts was a little off to me. (G)I-DLE opened and they were incredible. Really got the crowd going. David Kushner was okay, but kind of too mellow after the girls. Melanie Martinez was next. I have enjoyed her in the past, but the mask and new stuff was just not it for me. It didn't seem to fit the mood of the group at all as a lot of other folks were complaining about it. Big Time Rush was fun and a bit of nostalgia. One Republic had a GREAT set. Really had the crowd pumped. NCT Dream ATE. No one was sitting for that set. It was clear most of the crowd was there for them, because half left when they did. Jelly Roll was pretty good. I liked his arrangements of old hits. I only knew one of Doechii's songs, but I enjoyed her set. Flo Rida was fun and a huge hit of nostalgia. Honestly, they probably could have shifted acts around and ended with NCT Dream if they wanted the max crowd participation. Was disappointed Dream didn't perform Candy, as it is sort of holiday-themed.
This show is flawlessly run. Easy entry, quick food & beverage service, prompt showtime, audience engagement, energizing musical acts, brief transitions were purposeful and the joy of the holiday season felt throughout.
Jelly Roll and OneRepublic made the show! Loved David Kushner. FloRida was a fun and energetic way to close it out; kind of like Pitbull last year. This has been our 5th Jingle Ball and so far the worst of them. Didn't care for Doechii, NCT Dream or Melanie Martinez- weird. The line up didn't have the same flair as years past. Also didn't like the drug medication advertising or Boost Mobile advertising during the show. Especially with Elizabethany and crew straight reading off of notecards like they were giving a speech in 8th grade English class.
This was a great show, something for everyone. The sound quality was great, there was hardly any wait between acts, and the talent was incredible
Great lineup, great performances, and an all-around outstanding event!
This was one of the best concerts we have been to it. It was nice to see different artists all together in one place. We will definitely make this an annual event for us.
Everyone was so awesome!!! the show was amazing!! The staff was very helpful and kind!! All of the artist did amazing, the energy was so good!
The jingle ball 2023 is so much fun event and me and my mom enjoyed the jingle ball concert and we had so much fun at jingle ball concert 2023 and we like it so much and me and my mom will come to jingle ball concert again next year
I went to the Jingle Ball on Tuesday night with my mom, aunt, cousin, my other aunt and cousins and my neighbor and we all had a fantastic time! The show was amazing and all of the artists (Ava Max, Sam Smith, Lauv, Khalid, Jax, Tate McRae, Nicky Youre & Pitbull) were awesome! Our seats were in section 409 which were in the nosebleeds and very high up but we still had a great view. This was my first Jingle Ball and I will definitely go back next year!
Can definitely see why the event returns every year. Charlie, Khalid, and Ashley certainly delivered but felt like she was rushed due to time. Given the rail's closing time, I could understand. Just seem like there were more thoughts she wanted to share before closing her set.
Loved everything about the Jingle Ball - most especially the artists! Wish it could have gone on longer! More songs from each artist! Only 1 suggested improvement: more places to buy T-shirts from the concert.
The event was well ran by Capital One Arena starting from the security line to get in the venue. The line moved quickly and there was an overflow area so people were able to get inside out if the cold before scanning their ticket. The concert for the most part was well organized as well with fast transitions between acts thanks to the use of a rotating stage. The concert even had a sponsored lounge where we could grab a free drink and food thanks to Aflac since we were amongst the older crowd at the event. The biggest disappointment is that the headliner, Halsey, who we basically bought the tickets to see since she isn't performing on her own tour this year played only 4 songs over the course of 25 minutes. Other acts played more songs and for longer which left us feeling let down and a bit taken advantage of. Halsey did mention that she was a bit under the weather but without knowing many details I think she could have performed a more complete set.
I loved how we got a taste of each artist; they played all the songs I knew best, and I was never bored. All around a really fun event; will definitely go in future years :)
Nice concert! My daughter enjoyed very much. It was her first concert and now she was to go to New york. Good price for the tickets for early birds buyers.
