    It was ok.

by Rolandog0311 on 6/7/23UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long Island

Concert was ok, performances were subpar with performers singing and performing parts of the songs. Dj Funk Flex set was horrible to say the least. Cardi was obviously the best performance.

    Indoor Summer Jam

by Killa.Nique on 6/7/23UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long Island

I loved the indoor summer jam vibes. I honestly didn’t expect it to be as fun as it was! The line ups were in perfect order. This my first summer jam since Covid and I had so much fun. Cardi did an amazing job closing the show!

    Worst concert

by D on 6/7/23UBS Arena - Belmont Park - Long Island

First off in our section there were banners blocking our view from the screen up top so we really couldn’t see the performers. The sound system was horrible, it felt like the singers were singing late! It felt like no one did a sound check before the concert date and the whole concert was a second thought. The intermissions were so long especially the last one before Cardi B came on and at that point I just wanted to go home. The only good performance I saw was when Ice Spice and Lola Brooks came out and when Cardi B closed the show, but other than that some of the other performers could have cared less to be there.

    by O. R. on 6/5/23

Paid almost 1,000 for 2 seats and couldn’t see the performance because people standing on seats and blocking not worth the price never coming back the new generation have no respect wish I could get my money back I don’t understand how the workers have no crowd control

    Worth going but needs improvement!

    by H. H. on 6/23/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

I go to the Summerjam to chill and see the 3 performers out of like 20 that are worth actually seeing. It's cool for the chill aspect and partying with like minded people. It seems like lately, Hot97 gets mostly new artists that do not have a large catalogue and the crowd can only sing along to 1 or 2 songs, yet they give these artists the most time. I don't understand it. The nicest rappers have only come out to do 1 or 2 songs during a tribute. This year it was Kay Slay, last year it was DMX. NAS has released classics the past few years so where is he? Where is J Cole? Some of the criticism goes to the artists like Roddy Rich who was letting the vocals play while he rapped. Didn't he see The LOX Verzuz when Jada called out dipset for that?! lol It's overall a good experience if you like live music and looking to chill with like minded music lovers in Giants stadium, that's not an everyday thing. It's a lot better then being the person complaining, yet just sitting at home smoking blunts and acting like that's somehow better then going to Summerjam.

    What’s going on

    by F. R. on 6/18/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

I’ve been going to summer jam since 1995 I’ve seen a lot but I think these last two that I’ve been to and I still know that we’re still in a pandemic and all that situation but I don’t think hot 97 is really doing their job when it comes to this they were great people that had better music than these performers you know I remember you said drake you had Lil Wayne Nicki Minaj how do you think that you should get back to the real culture of music and I understand split it up a little bit little bitty old-school a little bit of new school you know I think you’re so focus a little bit more on reggae music Dancehall music like yeah used to have it I don’t know what’s going on you know one more thing nothing ever since Angie Martinez left I think you’re losing of your lost a big big influence big big person in this game that could’ve reached out to these rappers and get them to come to summer jam I don’t think you have it anymore I think you lost it and when it comes down to it I think it’s a part of your marketing team how your marketing summer jam now but you know I just wanna that’s just my opinion have a good day and if the lineup next year is the age of 24 and under I definitely won’t be going

Do you like the smell of weed?

by Queen Nafre on 6/16/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

If you love the smell of weed, then this is the summer concert for you! Decided to take three teenagers to Summer Jam as a graduation present since many of their favorite performers were scheduled perform and I wanted to see Burna Boy. Arrived to the Met Life Stadium and was immediately hit with a $40 charge for parking. Once we entered ALL we could smell was weed. As we navigated an endless sea of bodies to find our floor seats, I was shocked to find that NO one was was seated, rather, EVERYONE decided to stand the entire show. We did not find out until the show ended that many of the performers the girls wanted to see has performed earlier at the "Summer Village". This should be explained to newcomers next year because I technically paid for floor seats to see HALF of the performers advertised. The only reason I am giving a generous rating of 3 stars versus 2 is because the graduates had fun. Pro: Tribute to DJ Slay was excellent, to include the surprise performers! Con: Unfortunately, many of the performances and performers were plagued with sound issues. I was willing to overlook many of the issues that plagued an other wise decent concert until the end of the show came and there was NO BURNA BOY! Nothing was mentioned and many audience members were visibly upset. The smell of weed was INSANE! The $40 parking cost should be explained in the Ticketmaster details. Food was not easily assessable.

by Stan DaMan on 6/16/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

I was nice to be able to walk around the arena to get up close by the stage. My first time I can’t wait for next year it’s a must, this time a I don’t want to miss any early appearance by anyone.
