I've been to a lot of concerts and this concert surpassed them all. I'd never been inside The Roxy before, so when I walked in, I was immediately pleased with how small it was, yet it never really got crowded and stuffy like The House of Blues does.
Honor Society was on top of their game this night. Mike's voice and guitar playing were the best I've heard yet, and I've been to 8 Honor Society concerts and an acoustic show. Jason's playing on both keyboard and guitar were fantastic. Andy was rocking it on the bass. And of course, Alex was beating those drums with such expertise, had I not know better, I would've said there was no way he was only 24.
The covers were fantastic, a guitar cover of the intro to Guns and Roses' Sweet Child of Mine, a beautiful, sensual rendition of Let Me Love You by Mario had the girls in the crowd old enough to remember it swooning and fanning themselves and the girls not just screaming at the beautiful vocals of Mr. Michael Bruno. And of course, once 99 Problems came blasting over the speakers in the middle of Nobody Has To Know, the crowd reached a dangerous sound level.
