Attending the concert in Toronto featuring the incredible talents of Homayoun Shajarian and Anoushirvan Rouhani was an unforgettable experience. The performance was nothing short of mesmerizing, making the journey from the U.S. to Canada entirely worthwhile. The artistry, energy, and connection with the audience were outstanding. A five-star event that exceeded all expectations!

We were 10 people came from Florida to the freezing Toronto for this event. We all were happy to do it. I am a big fan of Homayoon. Great performance, especially along with Maestro Rohani. I wish Homayoun had not used the podium and was sitting like his previous performances. But he was great great great. Sound was awesome, being on time, and the band were incredible. Just disciplined like his father, Shajarian the Great.

Everything was perfect. The sound, lightening and stage. Homayoun was as humble as his father. He was so patient and took picture I assume with all people in Royce Hall.

The concert was great. Homayoun Shajarian was at his best and also Hesar ensemble did their job very well. Most of the pieces were new. Also the Royce Hall is a very good concert hall; I had the very back seats in the balcony but I didn't feel bad at all, I could see the players and hear them very well. I really enjoyed every moment of the concert and I definitely would recommend it to my friends.

It was well done. We really enjoyed it even though sometimes it was getting boring and too long. Too bad Ostad Shajarian didn't come up to the stage so people could at least see him.

New Spirit in Classical-Persian Music. Hessar Ensemble was lead greatly.

I could see everything closely but not too close. Voice was perfect and ... No complaint! everything was just great :)

1-Does an audience who paid $60 to watch this event deserve to have a catalog in hand to know the name of the players, composer, poet of the songs, and other things about the concert? 2- I think the audience here, expects to hear something more nostalgic than musical innovation.

it was amazing to hear Traditional Iranian Music performed by one of the most distinguish singer from Iran!

Program started by 45 min. delay. Event planner didn't provide any brochure for audiences. Sound check wasn't perfect specially when the percussion were playing. Nevertheless, you can forget about all above If you see a good program !!! Unfortunately, that night we didn't see any things special. Ghamsary had used one idea for composing and kept repeating that. So general line of the performance was so boring. He had tried to be avant-garde by writing a polyphonic music in the bed of Iranian repertoire but the harmony wasn't well developed and there was a serious problem in arrangement. So that was totally disappointing. If Homayoun wants to be great same as his father, He must act professional in all aspects of his concert !!!
