While the lights were beautiful, it was a little redundant with lots of gifts and ornaments. Everything, except the bounce house, is extra money in addition to the entry ticket. The ice skating rink was a pool of water with little hope of freezing anytime during that night. I don’t think I’ll go again.
We enjoyed everything at Holiday at Ford Park. The lights were beautiful, the Grandchildren loved Ice Skating, the petting zoo, and the jump house. It was a great night. THanks,
I know 3 stars feels low but i feel like it is an honest and true grade for a new event. I am excited to see how this event grows and develops in coming years and offers a fun experience for to home for Beaumont.
Awesome! Built lifetime memories with my family! Everything from Santa to the exotic animals to the reindeer bull! Hope to go every year at least once
The lights were decent I just expected more, having been to Magical Winter Lights this was kind of a joke. Since this was a first I’m hoping it grows to be larger. The vendor with the live reindeer pulled out apparently. Also it wasn’t clear where Santa was for a picture. The vendors that were there were all super friendly. My grandkids enjoyed the mechanical reindeer, petting zoo and bounce house.
The light display was lovely. My only recommendation is the price of the ticket should have included all activities. Basically the ticket price was to see the lights, everything else cost extra. This area needs more fun activities so I do hope it is supported but also think cost should be taken into consideration if it returns next year.
We had a great time at this event! We loved that something like this has come to our area. We want to support what we can so we can continue to have these types of events!
I didn't realize that the other attractions would cost additional money since the cost of the tickets were rather high. We only got to stay about an hour because it was raining and of course they closed the ice rink. My grandkids went on the ice rink right when we got there and that was the highlight of the whole event. Of course they had a promotion on the tickets and offered them half off which is the only way I would return again and try it. There's definitely room for improvement and hopefully it will get there. It would be nice if Ford Park offered a raincheck.
Lights were ok. My daughter (5) had fun, but overall not worth the money we paid. I’ve been to other light displays that cost a 1/3 of the price per ticket and we’re much better. They were better organized too. Ford Park’s management isn’t really good at managing events. The petting zoo was mediocre. Definitely did not feel like the Santa’s wonderland that was advertised.
I was very disappointed. First of all you should have let everyone know it was all outside. I was expecting shopping inside and places to eat inside, then go outside to see the lights. You need to get more things to shop at, and more food. I also understand that this was your first year and I hope you will add more next year.
Was surprised at the separate cost of each activity! We had ALREADY paid 20.00 per ticket. I’m not sure why the other activities were not just included in the ticket price. Bottom line is it was too expensive.
It takes less than an hour to walk through the lights, it is a lot of the same lights as you walk through. Everything outside of the admission is extra cost, $5 for ice skating, $5 for petting zoo, $5 for photo with Santa, gift shops and food vendors are reasonably priced. Hopefully next year they will expand on this to make it better.
