This performance was remarkable. Loved the songs from the 60's on up. All of the performers are extremely talented. I know the competition to get a role in this performance was tight. I highly recommend everybody and anybody to see it. The Lyric is a beautiful theater with a grand lobby and great and reasonably priced parking. No long and time consuming lines getting in or out of the garage.
Would definitely see it again & have recommended to family & friends. Great feel good show. Vocals & dancing were fantastic.
I didn’t know what to expect when I got the tickets to this show. From the beginning to the end, I sat with a smile on my face, singing and repeating, “wow, what talent!” I posted on Facebook and recommended that everyone see this show!
What a wonderful show . Do not miss it . Music from 1940 thru 2000. Ages to 22 are singing and dancing and playing the guitar . It was amazing and awesome . You won’t want to miss this ! Please go and support the young generation. You won’t be sorry !

Was a fantastic show! High energy. Kept the attention of my kids. Very inspiring. The dancing and the singing and music was fantastic. Highly impressed.
It must be a Wonderful thing to be 1 of the 29 kids to be chosen out of 7000 that tried out for this show. They were definitely "Puttin' on a Show", from the youngest to the oldest. I would highly recommend everyone go to see this show. You will be Happy you did.
We had so much fun at this fast paced, high energy show. The talent on display was jaw-dropping. No doubt that many of these performers have very bright futures in show business. Bravo!!
I totally disagree with a few of these reviews. This was NOT Kids Bop, this was Broadway. There were so many numbers! Yes, a few were better than others but most were superior and a few were excellent. None were less than that. I have never seen so much young talent on one stage. It makes me want to follow the careers of these talented singers and dancers. They gave it their all and I would highly reccomend it to anyone who loves music and theater.
We thoroughly enjoyed the show -- "Hits, the Musical." The cast is so very talented. Their singing and dancing were very professional, and everyone performed on cue. The costumes were appropriate, colorful and well designed for each performer. Every scene displayed a bouquet of light, color and energy. There was never a dull moment all evening. So glad we were able to attend this production at the Bergen PAC.
The entire cast were exceptionally talented and engaging. However, we found the first half of the show a bit disappointing in that only a couple of bars of each song were performed and then it was on to the next number. We would have much preferred a bit longer with each number; the second half was much better in this regard. Overall, though, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire performance and these young performers and all the production people should be highly commended.
The time flew as these talented performers sang and danced to the soundtrack of our lives......! The energy was dynamic, and the level of talent was explosive! Realizing later, how young these "kids" were made it even MORE unbelievable. Have no fear, the future is in great hands, feet and voices!
A few of the singers were very good, most not so much. Plenty of sharps and a few flats although, in their defense, it is a fast-paced show requiring excellent breath control. The dancers were excellent although they would have benefited from more imaginative choreography. One strange moment - a young lad (very young) came onstage dressed as Angus Young to sing…Pinball Wizard!? Overall, I was very disappointed.
Left the theater , stunned at what a fabulous performance ! Do not miss !
If you love Kids Bop, then this is the show for you. Most of the performers are about 10 to 16 years old. There is no story line, just kids singing a few lines from several hit songs through the decades. They're talented kids, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone except a parent looking to entertain their own kids for a while.
