Hippie Sabotage on Tour
Electronic music duo Hippie Sabotage fully embody their moniker, lighting up venues with trippy LED visuals while attacking the stage with huge beats, booming bass and endless amounts of energy. The Saurer brothers may have pushed well over a billion streams online, but it's nothing like seeing them command a stage, especially when Kevin's behind the boards and Jeff busts out his guitar. Since going global with their remix of Tove Lo's "Habits (Stay High)," the duo have brought their smooth, heart-pounding productions to cities around the world, dominating at top festivals like Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits and Electric Zoo, and selling out shows on their own headlining tours.
Hippie Sabotage in Concert
Before they even hit their teens, Sacramento brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer started crafting their own music. They first focused their attention on hip-hop, creating instrumental beat tapes. By the late ‘00s, they decided to give themselves a name: Hippie Sabotage, inspired by their father and grandfather's initials, H.S. They began collaborating with rappers like Yukmouth and Calez, and eventually morphed those hip-hop beats into more EDM-based songs. In 2013, they released their first EP of original material, Vacants, but it was a remix that would soon turn their life upside down. That same year, they reworked Swedish pop singer Tove Lo's "Habits (Stay High)," turning it into a dark, woozy dance track that eventually peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and shot up numerous other charts around the world. This sudden rise inspired the brothers to release more material, including a number of singles and EPs and soon their first full-length, The Sunny Album. Their sophomore album, Providence, followed in 2016 along with the Options EP, a collaboration with producer Cubic Z of DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group label. They continued that partnership for 2017's Drifter, and by the time they set off for their 2018 national tour, they were boasting over one billion streams and counting.

Hippie Sabotage are absolutely great performers with a brilliant set. Played all my favs and hopefully will keep their promise of coming back to play even more. The hoodie i purchased is soft and a beautiful color.
This band really cares about atmosphere. The stage set up, lighting, imagery and overall production of the show was phenomenal. The bass was on point and the tempo of songs (super important to me!) were fantastic for dancing and really feeling the music. I have always told my friend how much we’re missing out on live shows that are easy to dance to and make you feel something. Hippie Sabotage did just that and we both wished we could see them more often. Really great show, would see them again when they come close to town.
Definitely must see id go to every show they perform every year if I could
I did not like it. In am in my 40s and maybe not the right audience for this band. I was brought here my colleagues and was curious to hear it, but the same simple melody repeated during all the song with a background of samples, always the same as well - like a sort of mantra - just bored me. Sorry :( probably just not my style. The younger audience present there seemed to dig it though!
Loved Kemble X and Hippie, they gave such an amazingly epic performance and dude literally came right from the hospital with a concussion to preform for us🤣🤣 what a g lol awesome guys!!
They were definitely lip syncing, and the audio at the venue sucked. Cool visuals, though.
I went to this concert without knowing their music. I loved it! Music was great! Also loved Daisy Guttridge, who was one of the opening acts. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening!
Hippie Sabatge KILLED it! Definitely a good one to catch live! So many studio bands/singers suck live, but KEMBE X & HS both were Awesome!
Come back next year please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so close to the band that I was able to interact and dance with them which was spectacular!!! Definitely coming back to the Oakland fox theater 🤘

Never stop playing the oldies!!! I love them so much you guys killed it!!! Come back soon!! Also the merch was amazing whoever put the cat face on there thank you I love it so much!!! I’m glad we started the tour! I hope the rest of the tour is amazing!!!!!!!!
Jeff & Kevin (aka Hippie Sabotage) put on the most entertaining shows. What makes them stand out is not only their amazing music, but they truly have a love for their fans. This was my 4th time seeing them live, and every time I have had the chance to meet them, have a conversation and of course hugs and selfies with them. Artists who are humbled and committed to their fans. I am seeing them twice during this year's tour. Go catch one of their shows, lots of bass, swearing, and energy. HIGHly recommend!!
I missed Hippie Sabotage's show last year and was so excited to see them this year. They did not disappoint! It took maybe 10 minutes for them to get into songs that I know, but they ended up playing all my favorites. They're incredibly talented and I love the mix of live/DJ'd music and vocals. The visuals were awesome as well, some of the best and most unique I've seen. It was also great to see them close to their home town of Sacramento and feel their extra love of the Bay crowd.
Hippie Sabotage is one of the best concerts hands down. Love the vibe they bring and of course the music. Cannot wait for another tour.
Vaping has ruined concerts. There was zero enforcement and we were surrounded by vape smoke. Ended up leaving early because it was unbearable
Hippie Sabotage put on an amazing show. We had VIP tickets which is the way to go.
