    Hinder should retire

by rsm1982 on 11/13/17Cone Denim Entertainment Center - GREENSBORO

I went thinking this would be a good show. They opened with Adelitas Way which was the only redeeming part of the evening. Wayland was ok. The audio was horrible for the whole night for everybody all night. You could barely understand anyone. Josh Todd and the Conflict was just comical. He screamed the entire set and attempted to Axl Rose dance while the bass player head banged and attempted to look menacing. And the guitarist looked confused. Moving on to Hinder... We didn't even stay for the whole set. The audio was off, they were tone deaf, and didn't play any of the old stuff unless they played it at the end. In conclusion... 4 hours of my life I'll never get back and a little of my hearing I'll never regain. Shoulda stayed home and binge watched Grey's Anatomy on Netflix.

    Hinder/Josh Todd/Adelitas Way/Wayland - mixed

    by hollywood32 on 11/10/17The Masquerade - Atlanta

This from someone who sees 30+ rock shows a year and is a big fan of the Hinder/Buckcherry/Adelitas type rock genre. Wayland - wasn't familar with them. Tight, strong, clear, good entertainers...gave their all as was very impressive. Maybe too loud. Adelitas Way - Acoustic set. I thought it was awesome, Especially coming off the loud set by Wayland Josh Todd and the Conflict - Like most of the new album and was really looking forward to seeing live. Unfortunately, the sound was very distorted (and loud) and it really detracted from the experience. Hard to understand vocals. Josh was into it, but the sound was just bad. Hinder - Have always loved this band. First time seeing them since Austin left the band. Gotta say I was disappointed. Again, sound very distorted and vocals were very tough to distinguish. We actually left before the set ended, which I never do. Overall this was a strange night. There were very few people (125-150 maybe) in a venue that holds 1,000. I'm not sure if the sound problems were amplified because of that. Crowd was tame and the place was basically empty. That's OK for an "intimate" show, but except for Adelitas Way, there was not much of a connection between the artists and the crowd. The sound was bad. I was bummed.

Totally Conflicted, an assault on the ears

    by redmasque1 on 11/10/17The Masquerade - Atlanta

I will start with the good stuff. Hinder played a relatively short set, but it was filled with their favorites and they're a solid party band. We got an unexpected acoustic treat from Adelita's Way's singer and guitarist due to some bad fortune on their part (bus breakdown which resulted in the two of them flying in to perform for us). Wayland was a surprisingly fun band with solid music and good stage presence. The first band, Sojourn was passable as the first on a bill of five bands, but they were nothing special. They do have some pretty cool instrumental stuff going on, but as full songs, most of theirs don't really stand up to the bands they are playing with. Now on to the worst thing I've ever witnessed. Josh Todd and the Conflict is nothing less than a horrible assault on the ears. They played fast, hard, and loud and every single song is terrible. Josh Todd can't sing, the lyrics are stupid, and the lyrical patterns often don't even fit into the song. In fairness, the band is actually pretty good and the music itself is solid, sitting right on the border of hard rock and heavy metal. I wish that I had considered walking out to the outdoor atrium after a couple songs to escape this hideousness, but I did not do that and paid for it dearly.

Hinder was great! Josh Todd and the conflict were horrible. Sounded nothing like the Buckcherry that we all used to love..All he did was jump around, take his shirt off and scream. That being said, Wayland was with them on this tour....HOLY COW! Now, those boys know how to sing! They were actually the best if the whole night!

    Hinder in Grant Oklahoma

by pmracing on 2/3/17CHOCTAW CASINO RESORT - GRANT CHOCTAW EVENT CENTER - Grant

Hinder flat out "brought it" Saturday night in Grant at the Choctaw Casino. It was a great venue. The sound and lighting were terrific. Hinder sang all of their hits, and they didn't leave anyone disappointed.

    Hinder at the Canyon

by roxylady on 7/6/16The Canyon - Agoura Hills

I was very excited to see Hinder for the first time but did not realize that the original lead singer had left the band and been replaced. The new singer did a good job and was very enthusiastic but did not have the same quality to his voice. They sang all the songs I know by them and more plus a couple of cover songs.

    Hinder rocked

by jbjalways on 7/1/16The Rose - Pasadena

They're acoustic show rocked. Talented musicians and great guys. I'm not a huge fan of acoustic shows, but this was awesome. A great mix of new and old songs. They did a twelve minute medley of their songs which was fun. Definitely go see them if you can.

    There back better than ever!

by Bluesacalling on 6/9/16Blue Ocean Music Hall - Salisbury

What a great show! Unbelievably how they are better than ever! It's difficult for a band to change members and still have what it takes but,no doubt that they have it. You can tell the closeness and friendship each of the men have for the other. I actually expected less as an acoustic show but, it was far from it. Pure talent from these guys! I really enjoy the new CD "Hinder stripped" a track list of just six beautiful songs with the vocals of Marshal Dutton highly recommend it! As for me I was a VIP for the show and spent some time with the band members. A great group of down to earth men who really enjoy the talent that they have been given and will not disappointment you with there music!

A chance to get "stripped" with Hinder

by StephanieJoy22 on 6/8/16Blue Ocean Music Hall - Salisbury

If you have yet yo see this tour and have the ability to do so in a city near you, DO IT! I have seen the band several times but this show was absolutely incredible. The setlist was perfectly put together and kept you on the edge of your seat waiting to hear your favorite Hinder tune. From the music, the energy, the crowd interaction, and the friendly banter on stage, there is not a second that you are not entertained. Hinder is better and stronger than they have ever been. Not only are Marshals vocals flawless but you get the opportunity to see them all play musical chairs. I'd include names but I don't want to ruin the experience for anyone! Go see this show if you can and if you can't, definitely make it to their next tour.

Good, but not the same without Austin Winkler

by aphung on 6/8/16Blue Ocean Music Hall - Salisbury

This is my own fault, for not being up to date with the band's members...I was expecting the Hinder I grew up and knew. The one with the emotional, deep, raw and raspy voice (Austin Winkler). What I got was an angstier, whinier, Marshal Dutton. Almost reminiscent of New Found Glory's Jordan Pundik. Whiny voices have a place in punk rock and I enjoy it too. But I wasn't expecting that when I came to Hinder...Also, when the time came to close, everyone knew they would close with "Lips of an Angel", and I came to hear the BAND perform that old time favorite...but like many bands do, Dutton came into the audience and let the crowd sing large chunks of the song. It ended up being a kareoke of crowd participation and I couldn't appreciate the band's efforts. The good news is I discovered "Like a Storm" by going to this concert who had a much better definition of "acoustic" than Hinder. They were toned back, despite being a heavier metal/rock band, so you could appreciate their vocals and instrumentals, whereas Hinder performed with acoustic electric guitars, but still cranked it up to 10.

Still a great band, but I miss Austin

by Nickname43785969826 on 2/9/16Tricky Falls - El Paso

I saw Hinder last night in El Paso. This is my 3rd time seeing them in concert, and they were my favorite band when I was younger so I grew up listening to them. I still love their music, but they sound so different without Austin. The new lead singer is talented and they're still a great band, but it's kind of like listening to another great band cover your favorite band's song.... It's still good, but it's not the same. Kind of like listening to Aerosmith without Steven Tyler. Austin just has such a unique voice that defines Hinder for me, so without him, it's not Hinder. I still gave them 4 stars b/c they still put on a great show and everyone I went with had an awesome time, including myself. Within Reason and Sons of Texas opened for Hinder, and Sons of Texas kicked ass. Such an amazing band with incredible energy and stage presence.
