HIGHLY SUSPECT IN CONCERT:
Comprised of twin brothers and their best friend from childhood, Highly Suspect are a tight-knit group that deliver foot-stomping rock music in the vein of Queens Of The Stone Age and early Kings Of Leon. Fans can't get enough of energetic frontman Johnny Stevens' gritty voice and hard-driving guitar chops as the band blasts through crowd favorites like "Mom, "Bath Salts", and "Mr. Asylum" in their funk and ska-influenced progressive rock style. Highly Suspect's nonstop touring schedule in support of two excellent EPs gives ticket buyers plenty of chances to catch these party starters in concert for a fun and hard-driving night of music.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Twin brothers Ryan (drums) and Rich Meyer (bass) formed Highly Suspect in 2009 with guitarist and lead vocalist Johnny Stevens. The trio got their start playing covers at local venues in their coastal Massachusetts hometown and quickly built a loyal and enthusiastic fan base. In 2012 they moved from Cape Cod to Brooklyn and recorded their debut EP The Worst Humans with producer Joel Hamilton (Elvis Costello, The Black Keys, Wu-Tang Clan). After standout sets at South by Southwest and Lollapalooza they released their sophomore EP, 2014's Black Ocean. Later that year they inked a deal with New York-based indie label 300 Entertainment and embarked on their first national tour opening for alt rockers Chevelle. With their self-titled debut album arriving in 2015, Highly Suspect is living up to the buzz and then some.

Highly Suspect delivered an awesome show! Johnny is an electric front man, and Rich even sang two songs! Ryan was amazing on the drums, too. The crowd was engaged the whole show; everyone was dancing, jumping, and singing along. They played for about 2 hours, and every minute of it was awesome. The venue was small, and I felt like Johnny was singing right to me. MCID for life!
This is my second time seeing Highly Suspect and I was more impressed by this show than the first time I saw them. Definitely a must see and can't wait for them to come around again.
The rustic/soulful voice of Johnny, mixed with the angelic/soulful voice of Richard and the bad ass beats on the drums of Ryan was beyond impressive. The crowd sang along at the top of their lungs and that mixed with the intense soul being put into each of their songs, was truly amazing. These guys always deliver. And at a small venue with little space they really put on a show. Everybody in the sold out crowd was singing along with them word for word...... Even the newest songs !! Amazing sound, great instruments, and charisma you could fill a room with !! Awesome Awesome Awesome !!! They guys TRULLY are DOPE !!!
Very high energy show, band sounded great, great audience participation through out the whole show.
Put on an AMAZING show! I hope they return to Michigan soon!!!❤ Fantastic musicians!
Never seen them but love their music and as I expected they tore St. Andrew's Hall down. From the second they came on stage to the last it was non stop great Energy and sound can't wait for concert #2. MCID!
Highly Suspect always brings it. That show was great. Would see them again and again
This was the second time I've seen Highly Suspect and they do not disappoint. Johnny's guitar work is soulful and spellbinding. Rich steps into center stage flawlessly for the vocal switch and Ryan keeps the rhythm perfectly. Mister Asylum is a strong album and if they are able to follow it up well, they should find themselves exploding across the rock scene. I expect big things from them in the future.
they are so incredible live and put on a good show. they had so much energy and it was incredible. plus, their opening act audiodamn was very good as well.
This band doesn't disappoint. Their attention grabbing good ol Rock and roll riffs along with great lyricist and front man Johnny you will be entertained from the first note. I also have to give their drummer kudos for setting the tone of every single song. The trio played heart felt jams all night long and even switched singers for a couple songs which great!! The are a great mix of blues, punk, and rock. They will be selling out arenas very soon. Hope their new album keeps the momentum going for these three! The only thing I say I didn't care for is all the feedback through out the set. A little goes a long way.
One of those bands that sounds awesome on their album but even better live!!! Johnny's voice makes you experience all the emotion in their songs while he sings to you....like he was playing just for me!! And those twins......oh boy!!! What can I say....I was hooked from the beginning!!! And it keeps getting better!
Highly Suspect sounds better live than recorded. If you get the chance to see them, do it!
Unbelievable gig, Highly Suspect worked the crowd into a frenzy and put on an amazing show.
Highly Suspect was the best show I have ever been to! Super nice guys too!
Highly Suspect puts on the most incredible show I've ever seen live and that's saying something considering I've seen them live three times. Their energy is palpable the entire show and you can't help but be captivated. Definitely catch a show if they are anywhere remotely close to where you are and you won't be disappointed. See them now before they're too famous and will be playing at huge venues.
First time seeing Highly Suspect. The band and vocals were outstanding. They had amazing energy and really got the crowd excited. In addition to the performing all the best songs from their album, they also performed a new song that sounded great. These are talented and personable musicians. I highly recommend seeing Highly Suspect!
This band is great! Awesome tunes and crowd interaction!
