We’ve been to Ludlow Garage before and had good seats. Fortunately, no on really tall or with a large head was sitting directly in front of us for that 1st show.
In this case, a gentleman that was probably about 4” taller than me was sitting in the seats directly in front of me. The floors in the seating area are not “raked”, that is, slowly raised as they move away from the stage. There are two or three areas that are flat but each area is about 6” taller than the previous section. So, tall person in front of you on the same level? You’re out of luck.
The seats are not even staggered to allow the person behind to see between the people in front.
Add to the problem, when I leaned to one side, he seemed to need to lean the same way, continuing to obstruct my view.
Other than that, the audio was really good, lighting was good.
Heywood was very funny! The couple that went with us both said they couldn’t remember the last time they laughed so much. He’s a true comedy genius!
