  • Hepcat was fantastic!

by MrandMrsP80 on 10/8/13House of Blues San Diego - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed the event - from the great crowd to lineup of performers. Hepcat played another amazing show! We love the 21+ crowd; less problems with rowdy teens. Atmosphere was nice, venue was clean.

  • Hepcat is Full of Energy as Always

by gkgilbert on 5/20/13House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

It is hard to beat Hepcat for the amount of fun they are having on stage. The crowd amplifies the energy they deliver for an amazing concert experience. Wish they came down to Orange County more often!

  • Aggrolites and Hepcat Rocked it!

Hepcat have aged like a fine wine through out the years, every show gets better and better. I highly recommend seeing them live, they won't disappoint!!!

I've seen Hepcat previously at the Hollywood House of Blues, but they blew that perfomace away! The Music Box is such a better venue!

  • FANTASTIC!

by Rosenda on 2/8/10El Rey Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Very Be Careful were AMAZING!! Great funky cumbia music and singing and that guy really is an excellent accordionist too. The Lions were NICE and smooth, great musicians too. Nice to see Alex from Hepcat and that other dude from The Bullets up there singing and that other young Rasta whomever he is is a GREAT singer too. Dengue Fever were FANTASTIC! I love their Cambodian pop rocking sound and the singer is lovely and reeeeealy has a wonderful voice. OF COURSE HEPCAT WERE PERFECT RIGHT GREAT PERFORMANCE GREAT MUSIC GREAT EVERYTHING. I even liked The Revivers, who showed up in place of Joey Altruda & Crucial Riddims (I really really wanted to see them but they could not make it), especially the FIRST singer. That brother has a sweet warm voice and DAMN I just about exploded smiling and laughing and enjoying his version of Hello Dolly! Love that song!

  • They still got it!

by Threesanity on 1/8/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Hepcat, as always, was amazing! I also enjoyed the Venue much more than last year at the El Rey. The House of Blues allowed more elbow room for dancing.

  • Police and Thieves were awesome!

by MissJerri on 1/1/10House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Sorry Hecats, left before you came on. Was sooo impressed with the opening acts, Bullet and Police and Thieves. Local talent is alive and well in L.A.!!! Derek Grace and Wally Caro are phenomenal!

  • Hepcat @HOB Sunset Strip rocked

by snb21 on 12/28/09House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Hepcat put on an amazing show as always. Out of all the Hepcat shows that I have been to I think that HOB Sunset Strip was the best, no matter where you are you can view the stage perfect and hear the music wonderfuly. Hepcat put their all into their show like they always do and played their music great. The whole house was a movin' to the good old Hepcat classics.

  • Still no new material!

by Rudegirl3to1 on 12/28/09House of Blues Sunset Strip - HollywoodRating: 4 out of 5

Was hoping to hear some new martial or at least some of those old ska favorites. The show was reminicant of their late 1990's. They are not as "together" as they used to be. I am sure it is their lost bassist. It's not quite the same. Unfortunately many people at the show were rude, confrontational, and on the verge of violent. I wished for those good old days when people went to a show, danced, and left our worries behind. I hate to say it... But, the "type" of show goer has changed. And not for the good. Despite these comments, I would drop everything and run to see hear and dance to them again. I will wait for that new material and hope to hear "arte Bella" from them again.

  • Hepcat show was the place to be!

  • Ska well represented

by BbqMike on 11/10/09House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

I only have 3 of their CDs but it's all I'm listening to since the concert. The dancing was hypnotic, the smiles infectious, and the music was uplifting. The band conveyed the playful nature of the Rude Boy attitude. They played effortlessly and proficiently with the essence of Ska spilling out onto the crowd.

  • HEPCAT RULES!!!!

by javierireyes on 11/9/09House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Excelent show, the set list covered material from all of their records including a few cover tunes. The only song missing was "earthquake and Fire".
