This was the best comedy performance we've seen in quite a while. It was especially great to see him perform in his hometown - the stories from back then blended seamlessly with his unique brand of comedy and made it that much more meaningful. Great mix of new material with just enough of his tried and true material that everyone recognized and enjoyed.
Henry was hilarious. We enjoyed his humor immensely. I really enjoyed how he interacted with the audience. His quick came in handy as he bantered with the crowd. I look forward to seeing him every time he comes into town. His provides good clean jokes and the whole family will enjoy it.
Henry was so funny! Loved that he talked about growing up in East Tennessee. Stories about his past were awesome. Loved hearing old jokes about Jonly Bonly! Great show! Took my teenagers and they had a blast!
I had a wonderful time. Henry Cho was great! The Bijou is always a great place to visit.
Henry Cho is a refreshing comic who proves that you can be funny while keeping it clean. His ability to appeal to all ages made it the PERFECT group Christmas event for my staff. They are still thanking me 3 days later and telling me (and others) what a good time they had. Very funny, both with prepared material and impromptu. I would definitely recommend his show to everyone. Thanks, Henry - for a great experience!
I have known Henry Cho since he was a teenager. He has great talent and surely could climb higher on the entertainment ladder, but he chooses to respect his faith, his family, and his real friends by keeping his show clean with no obscenity. Henry is very funny and consistently reminds us of what really matters in life. He chooses to stay grounded to the real foundation of his life, the truth that never changes. I have the highest of respect for Henry Cho. I appreciate his ability to make people laugh, because we do not laugh enough.
Henry Cho was fabulous!! He was entertaining to folks aged 8-80, literally!! My 16 year old daughter had a blast!!
The show was great. The "warm up" act Rahn, was great also. Very rewarding to see a home grown guy make it big. Enjoyed the whole show and loved having it at the Bijou Theater. Will definitely see him again when he returns to the Bijou (hint)!
EXCELLENT from start to finish; including his warm up act. They were both funny, witty, played with the audience well and kept the show going without any dull moments. I can't think of one joke that didn't get a laugh. It was awesome.
We took our 12 and 15 year olds with us to the show. We all enjoyed it so much! It was a great family night out!!
Henry Cho was hysterical! One of the best comedians out there. He didn't have to resort to foul language or shock value, he just made us laugh.
Henry Cho was excellent! Henry, Please get Tom Wilson to come back to the Pearl/Jackson Metroplex area!! Tom was outstanding! Great event for a great charity!
Laugh Away SMA featuring Henry Cho......wonderful!!! Great clean family comedy....even though a little of the 80's stuff went over the kids heads....that made it even funnier! Never heard Jake Gulledge before but he was great!!!
This was my first live comedy event and it was well worth it. I like that it was clean comedy!
All three comedians were hillarious. My favorite was Jake Gulledge, who really can sing like Steve Perry of Journey! This was a fundraiser for Stop SMA, and I definitely plan to attend next year.
I have seen Henry Cho several times. He has a very down to earth view of a young Korean/American growing up in the South. I think the reason I like Mr. Cho is his humor is very unique, creative and clean. This is a commedean who the whole family can enjoy.
We loved the show! We've seen Henry many times over the years, and we think he just gets better. The venue made the show 45 minutes late, but Henry made it worth the wait!
