Héctor Acosta broke out as the lead vocalist of one of the Dominican Republic’s top merengue acts, Los Toros Band, where he earned his nickname "El Torito," or “The Little Bull.” After releasing several Los Toros Band albums of merengue and bachata music, including their 1991 debut Se Soltaron los Toros and 1996’s El Mambo del Toro, Acosta left the group in 2006 and unveiled his debut solo album Sigo Siendo Yo later that year. His 2008 follow-up Mitad/Mitad reached No. 5 on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart behind lead single "Sin Perdón” and a collaboration with Romeo Santos. 2009’s Simplemente... El Torito and 2010’s Oblígame both peaked at a career-best No. 2 on the Tropical Albums chart. Acosta has received six Latin Grammy nominations throughout his career, including for his 2022 album Este Soy Yo.

  • Very Disappointed

    The parking at this venue is absolutely awful, hopefully if you ever go on a day when it rains take some rain boots. The parking lot floods and it’s quite the ordeal. We arrived early and the 1st artist arrived almost an hour past 8pm, he sang for exactly an hour and 5 minutes and was done. The 2nd artist also played for 1 hour and 20 minutes and he seems upset while he was performing. He kept adjusting his microphone and moving around to avoid the constant noise from the feedback. The sound in the Arena was off and the acoustics kept giving the artists microphone and speakers feedback sound. I was not impressed by the way this event has handled and had I know I would have not spent so much money on this concert.

    The concert was halft empty and i did not saw a option for the 3rd floor that was completly empty.

    El Torito came out full of energy and sang a lot of his famous songs. He is an star. I did enjoy Zacarias too but for me Hector was the star. He is so talented and humble and gave a wonderful show. Loved it 😍😍😍😍

    I seen those artist many times . I feel the venue is not what I expected . Super expesive ticket and drinks prices at the venues super expensive . $120 for 4 drink seen a little bit to much. And then When the show is over the staff want u out fast . I would not paid to see any artist at this venue. I regret paying what I paid to go this venue .

    I really liked to be in the concert, I enjoyed it a lot. I really love my Dominican bachateros. They have very nice songs, their presentation was awesome. I had a lot of fun. If they was to come again, I would go again to see them. It was very nice to be there with my family enjoying it. Recommended it.
