HEALTH IN CONCERT:
For the past decade, LA-based experimental noise rock outfit HEALTH has been an unstoppable force of mind-blowing sonic creativity and wild-eyed showmanship. The band's live performances are an exercise in tightly controlled chaos, treating ticket buyers to a blistering onslaught of distorted guitars, pulse-pounding drums, and mangled electronic textures punctuated by moments of mesmerizing melodic beauty. From the jagged riffs and visceral tribal drumming of "Crimewave" to the piercing electronics and ethereal vocals of "Die Slow", Health always takes ticket buyers on a sonic journey brimming with energy, experimentation, and adrenaline-fueled showmanship.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
HEALTH formed in 2006 amid the fertile DIY punk and noise scene of legendary Downtown LA venue The Smell. They released their self-titled debut album on Lovepump United in 2007, quickly receiving a boost when popular synthpunk band Crystal Castles remixed their song "Crimewave". HEALTH built a reputation with their decibel-shattering live shows, and in 2008 they were tapped by Nine Inch Nails as an opening act on their Lights in the Sky farewell tour. Following five months on the road with NIN, HEALTH returned to LA and released their sophomore album Get Color to widespread critical acclaim. They followed up in 2010 with the remix album Health::Disco2, and in 2012 they surprised fans when they composed the soundtrack for the video game Max Payne 3. In 2015 HEALTH thrilled fans with the announcement of a European tour with Interpol, where they'll preview material from their highly anticipated third album.
Over the course of their career, HEALTH have packed venues such as Irving Plaza and Plaza Live.

By far one of the best live shows I’ve been two, they were engaged with the crowd and kept everyone on their toes. Would recommend to others and definitely see live again
Prior to this show I haven’t listened to much Health but they were so good live from the moment they played a cruel Angel thesis before their own set. I’ve been listening to them a heck of a lot lately.
I bought a ticket for this show the day before after deliberating for a while; glad I did because it apparently sold out sometime in the next 24 hours. It was a great vibe in the room, every act killed it. I'd seen Health a couple years prior so I knew they'd be great, but Street Sects and Perturbator were amazing too. Glad I decided to hit this one up!
Was probably the best show I’ve been to in years, Purity Ring was also great. Loved meeting Johnny after the show, he’s a really nice guy and Health is my favorite!
If you want every preconceived notion you have about electronic music to be shattered and love being surprised by how amazing a band live can be, see health now. Pictureplane was cool too awkward dance music.
Insanely good show. Their lighting was some of the best I've ever seen, They sounded better live than their album, and the energy in the crowd was unforgettable. Maybe one of my favorite shows I've ever been to.
This band was insane. I had no idea what they were going to be like live but the entire band had so much energy that I just wanted to go nuts with them. I've only been able to see once but I've been hoping for another Vegas show. I wasn't familiar with their music when I went to see them (my friends were their opening act) but they won me over hard.
Relaxed, smaller venue filled up pretty well. Well put together lineup. Fun and enjoyable opener, Gold Panda was amazing, Indian Jewlery was not my favorite but a lot of people seemed to be ok with it, and lastly, Health was soo good. I should have brought earplugs though. Im not used to the volume being cranked. Even so, really great sound especially for so small a place and friendly workers from what i saw.
I LOVE THESE GUYS! I saw them open for NIN at the House Of Blues, and I saw them for free at the Pool Parties in Brooklyn! The drummer is probably my favorite drummer EVER besides Ilan Rubin. The Asian dude really sets the mood as he dances around stage. And the light heavenly vocals that they set off, really go well with the heavy noise that makes your ears ring. I really enjoy watching these guys, and I'm proud to be one of their fans.
