About

Indie songwriter Hazlett was born and raised in Australia but if the past few years are anything to go by, he's very much bloomed in Sweden.

An old friend, one big break-up and playing Oasis' "Wonderwall" in pubs three nights a week  was the unplanned cocktail of moments that saw him throw adulthood to the wayside and venture to the other side of the world. While he was up in Sweden Hazlett's unique brand of "Indie Ballroom Folk" really came to life after spending time with his close friend and now collaborator Freddy Alexander. A lot has changed since then and what started as just writing songs to "figure out some things in his head..." has now become a whole world of music and beautiful detail to move through.

Even though the nerves never quite go away, there's this newfound quiet confidence to the troubadour from the land down under. You may not have met, but sometimes when you're listening to Hazlett he feels like the only friend you've ever had.

  • Incredible Artist

This is my 2nd Hazlett show in 3 months and I can't wait to see him perform again. His sound and genuine energy is incredible. His music is already inspiring, but to hear him live surrounded by others who also appreciate what he has created & is sharing with the world is an incredible experience. If you have a chance, you don't want to miss an opportunity to attend his show.

Hazlett’s energy and engagement makes his music live something I will always make the effort to go see. He sounds amazing live and is also just a good dude all around. I love supporting his music and concerts.

  • loved it!

Hazlett was amazing! Loved the venue and the staff were courteous- even passed out water to us while we waited for the opening act. The only downside was that we waited a really long time for the concert to get started which was a bit rough just standing there packed in. The sound was great, it was easy to see the stage, and we had a great time!
