  • Still smiling! Hasan Minhaj is unforgettable!

We had seen Hasan Minhaj as a Daily Show correspondent, but knew little more about him. His show brought together a very diverse crowd, who took away joy, laughter, and the serious social commentary of his story that is reflective of so many others in our society. The highly personal narrative of his comedy was unlike anything we had ever experienced in a stand-up routine, in a great way. Excellent job with the lighting effects as well, to reflect the mood of his storytelling. The six in my group from age 16 - 47 all highly recommend Hasan Minhaj!

  • Great storytelling

Hasan had me clapping and cheering and at times feeling emotional throughout the show. It was great storytelling with a sincere conscience. Throw in some Bollywood references and the pains of youth in America and you feel the cultural comradery.

Great show. Hasan Minhaj did a great job being side splittingly funny while making real statements about life growing up in America with immigrant parents. He was fantastic and I would watch his show again for sure!

Wish the show started on time. There was no announcement about the reason and the performer did not even acknowledge. The performer spoke too fast at times.

  • Hasan's stories are entertaining and enlightening

    by ajay911911911 on 12/6/16Sixth & I Historic Synagogue - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Hasan came out and told tales of his childhood to adulthood. He used projected images to great effect. He was funny for about 2/3 of the show, then teetered off the rails with a 9/11 reference that he never followed up on. The crowd loved him, giving a positive energy to the whole venue.

BEYOND AMAZING! I would go 100 times if I could. Wasn't just comedy -we laughed, cried and experienced all the feels as we learned about Hasan's life experiences - also the opener was hilarious!

The crowd reflected his appeal - young, old, immigrant, local, diverse. Really insightful politically and a voice for the modern child of immigrants' experience - very timely especially now. His carefully curated show was both poignant, and purposed, while also being light, funny, and entertaining. Bravo - definitely recommend to friends. Would see him again. =]

The show was wonderful, it all tied in together well from start to end. Hasan put his own cultural twist to it speaking in his native language and it made him even more personable. The entire show was great, worth every penny, and would see him again in a heartbeat!

  • Hasan Minhaj Awesome Show

by OlderBostonion on 11/16/16The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Hasan does a non-stop 90 minute stand-up show built around his experiences growing up. The audience, most of it in his age group, hung on his every word and saw their experiences reflected in his comedic and satirical take on growing up as Hasan. It was a brilliant show.

by Kelsang on 11/16/16The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Hasan knows how to tell a story. The show did not feel like a bit. The whole show went smoothly like we were watching a great movie. He can definitely narrate a story if he ever has to write a movie. lol Often times comedy comes from a very judgmental space but Hasan's genuine personality comes through. Amazing show, the crowd loved and cheered him.
