    Excellent!

    by S. D. on 2/5/19Knoxville Civic Auditorium - Knoxville

I enjoyed the entire experience! The movie was great, having the live orchestra was wonderful and I loved that the conductor invited the audience to participate with cheers and boos. This particular audience did this well which made it fun, but did not cover any of the dialogue or music. Also having the chorus was a great surprise and added so much to the living sound track.

    Great Show

    by K. L. on 2/5/19Knoxville Civic Auditorium - Knoxville

The show was AMAZING! The symphony did a fantastic job and brought a whole new magic to the movie. I especially loved how involved the crowd was and how the conductor gave us permission to clap, cheer and boo at our favorite characters. It was lots of fun! My only complaint was the seating. I could see really well, but the seats are so close together, the person next to me kept bumping into me on accident every time she moved and I spent most of the time trying to lean as far to my husband’s side as I could to avoid doing the same. Overall a great show and I’d go again.

    Wonderful

by Beth on 2/4/19Knoxville Civic Auditorium - Knoxville

We loved the combination of watching the movie, observing the beautiful music being performed and seeing the script. It brought a clarity to a story we've read and seen many many times.

    A great family experience

    by A. P. on 2/4/19Knoxville Civic Auditorium - Knoxville

We attended the Harry Potter with Knoxville Orchestra last year and knew what to expect. It’s a great evening where cheering, booing, clapping and celebrating along with your favorite characters is encouraged. My family thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the music.

    Awesome

by melba toast on 2/4/19Knoxville Civic Auditorium - Knoxville

Just saw the third installment of Harry Potter movie with the Knoxville Symphony playing the score live. It was simply awesome. They had a choir that sang along with them. The conductor was great! The musicians were outstanding and they kept up with the movie action. I can't wait for the next performance.

    Magical!

by Haley on 2/4/19Knoxville Civic Auditorium - Knoxville

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect or how it would all work but I was blown away. The symphony was phenomenal and I wasn’t expecting a choir either. They were flawless and timed perfectly with the movie. My favorite part was when they got to really play during the credits. Highly recommend.

    Harry @the symphony

    by T. W. on 2/4/19Knoxville Civic Auditorium - Knoxville

Love the live music with the movies! This is the first movie I’ve watched from the upper balcony area. Previously I’ve been in bottom section. After the movie had begun, the attendants were still standing in the aisle showing late arrivals which way to go. Perhaps they should step back/down to the stairway edge to remove themselves from view of the guests that arrived on time. Also there seemed to be a lot of guests confused/upset regarding the folding chairs. So they remained standing and looking at their tickets and walking around (in front of the ones that arrived on time). I know you want to sell additional tickets. Perhaps less people will purchase with the hassle of these extra chairs added. It also narrows the walkway.

    An evening of excellence

by Nancy on 2/4/19Knoxville Civic Auditorium - Knoxville

The KSO had a marvelous performance, as did the Knoxville Choral Society. It is amazing how one can get so involved in the movie that you forget it is a Symphony performance. Just wonderful!
