Good concert, bad parking experience
by LakewoodParkingIsTerrible on 9/25/25Lakewood Amphitheatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5Hardy was great! Highly recommend seeing him in concert! Jim Bob Tour is definitely a mix of all of his music spanning his entire career. More of a focus on rock (not as much of his “I Quit!” Album as I expected), but I was surprised by some of the older songs he sang. No matter what he sang, it was a great concert & the whole crowd was having the best time!! Parking at Lakewood is absolutely abominable. It took us an hour to park & get to our seats once we got off the interstate (it’s less than a mile from the exit to Lakewood). We paid for a parking pass when we bought tickets but they were letting people pay for parking as they pulled in so spots were slim & they were having to open more spots by the time it was finally our turn. We missed so much live music because parking was so bad. I was extremely disappointed that I missed so much music & definitely didn’t get my money’s worth from these concert tickets. Koe Wetzel was a big reason we went & we missed half his set because parking was horrific.Would recommend to people to not buy a parking pass & just park in a random lot across the street so you don’t miss any of the a concert like we did. The parking situation, especially when you have a premier parking pass, needs to be sorted out better. It was completely inexcusable & we may not return to Lakewood because of it.
