I really enjoyed the first night of the show! Especially the VIP, I got all the way to the front of the stage, and without anyone pushing or fighting, etc. security was outstanding. Best enforcement of the rules that I had ever seen at any EDM events. Would definitely do this again
Had a blast! The day was great and weather beautiful, but as the sun went down it got super chilly. I would definitely attend this event again, but with a bigger jacket!

Loved the music, but did not feel good vibes from the crowd at all. It was not a great experience as an Insomniac event.
And it actually was a lot more fun then I thought it would be. Really enjoyed myself and the the Pomona Fairplex was great.
The venue was perfect, the stages were great, the music was perfect, and the people were chill. It was a great weekend and worth every penny
I got the Tickets for my Daughter and she had an absolutely EPIC Time @ DOTD :)
The lineup for Sunday's hard event was amazinnnnggg!!! The only complain is that it ends way to early! At least make it till midnight!
Fun event. Laid out pretty well with a good crowd.
I love HARD events, but this year's DOTD was especially great. There was an amazing lineup, and while the venue was really spread out, I think it overall made a great experience with minimal crowds.
PROS: • Sick lineup! • Massive setup and walking grounds • Amazing crowd • Water was huge and not that expensive • Loved that you got hard beats with deep sounds. like a little variety here and there CONS: • Parking way out on the other end of the venue was a little painful since it didn't reach capacity to fill the entire lot •
The festival was okay compared to a lot of the festivals I've been to there was no atmosphere. The entrance had no excitement and was relatively dead looking. It sucked that you could only drink in certain areas that seemed crowded at times and you had to chug before exiting the station. The only thing I loved about the festival were the stage designs. All amazing but the atmosphere didn't feel like "day of the dead" if felt like a regular carnival with some live music.
Much better lay out than hard summer, especially the parking!

Will call at HARD was super easy and fast. Made everything run smoothly. Went ziplining, freaking fantastic.
Had a great time at Hard this year. The location was new, and we ended up booking a hotel room at the Sheraton right next to the Fairplex with about 10,000 of our friends. We could walk to the event from here easily. The venue was great. Nice and bit, if only a little confusing the way traffic was directed at some areas. The fact that it's so far out helps weed out a lot of posers from the scene, so that's pretty awesome too. That said, this will probably be my last Hard event. They have the line up, but the location is getting further away and the cost is going up, I'd rather spend the money/effort on an Insomniac show.
The venue was WAY nicer than last year's Day of the Dead! No dirt and dust at all, besides the Hard stage but I rarely spent time there anyway. Gigantic and beautiful venue, I loved that there was beauty and calm away from the music. Food was great, they served ice cream too. Plenty of bathrooms, and CLEAN! But most importantly of all, the music was on point. I only made my way to the Hard and Harder stage once per day and instead I spent nearly all my time at the 3 underground stages. I had the opportunity to see DJs that I normally wouldn't have been able to, especially in one weekend. Since the music sounded muffled and restricted inside the buildings, it was difficult for me to hear all the little nuances of each track. If it was out in the open, it would've been super crisp - it was a disservice to artists like Odesza.
Ive been to events like this one for 5 years now and this is definitely one of the best ones I've been to. Great vibes, great people and good staff. Hard events definitely know what they're doing.
Tickets were a little overpriced, venue should have been bigger to accommodate the number of attendees, plenty of stages and several awesome artists to see. A lot of the set times overlapped, making it difficult to choose between artists. Parking should have been free. Decent stage design and lights/lasers/video screens. The biggest stage, the Hard stage, could've had louder sound and more bass. The Harder stage was loud enough and had a good level of bass. Water stations were handy, map was good, 3 different lines/checks to get into the venue were too many. No kandi or totems were allowed, so we were sad about that. I think I'll stick to Insomniac events from now on, this was a good comparison.
Absolutely the greatest weekend of my life. A truly unforgettable experience that if you have the option to, I strongly suggest attending.
