HARD Day of the Dead Tickets

As the title suggests, I did not agree with the layout of the event. It took 20 minutes to go from one stage to another. Not to mention, the Pink stage was indoor and was closed off since it was at max capacity. Not only that, there were unannounced last minute changes to the schedule which meant missing Zhu's set. Hard also needs to do a better job of labeling where there watering stations are. The lack of a sign makes it almost seem that they didn't want you to know where to go and instead dish out hard earned cash for bottled water. Shame. I did enjoy the Pretty Lights and mau5ville b2b. But overall, logistics could've been much better.

I attended the day 1 #HARDDOTD2014 and it was a blast. Tons of great music, my friends and I got to see Yogi, Seven Lions, GTA, Pretty Lights, Diplo, Knife Party, and Deadmau5. We drank and danced all day, made friends with the people around us, and most importantly...shaked our booties to DIPLO. I really enjoyed the fire effects included in the night performances, made it really exciting and we certainly enjoyed the heat from the flames on such a chilly day! The music was amazing. The location was better because there wasn't so much dirt everywhere. I actually came home without a dirt mustache!

Amazing. My first music festival and I am a complete fan now. Will be attending all HARD events I possibly can now.

The festival lineup and venue cleanliness/space were amazing! Clean bathrooms with nice and helpful workers, easy venue to navigate and not too much spacing between the stages so you could easily make it between sets. Much better layout than HARD Summer 2014. The issues came with entry and the outrageous security on Sunday. We arrived 2 hours early to get in in time for Big Gigantic and ended up missing half of their set because security was taking so long. When you pay $200+ for tickets and are missing people you paid money to see it's extremely frustrating, especially when you plan ahead by arriving at 3p (Big Gigantic didn't go on until 5 and we didn't get to their set until 5:45p.) The gates for entry were continuously closed, In addition to the slow entry people weren't following the male/female separation lines and would cut over at the front of the line, causing longer lines (same thing that happens when traffic is congested due to lane closures). At that point the security doing the pat downs should of sent the females that purposely stood in the male lines to the end instead of letting them cut everyone behind them that followed the signs and had been waiting.

HARD really brought out their strongest guns at this one. Significantly better than last year, everything from the venue, artist, vibe, and structure of the event was great. Downside, it was a little rainy and cold, but when you're in the middle of a crowd that isn't much.

venue was clean and large, lots of space for movement, never felt too crowded, security lines moved efficiently and quickly. best organization i could ask for. felt more like a "music festival" than a "rave". had a very "coachella" feel to it, compared to the last few dotd's i've been to.

all the performers were great. visuals and sound was okay could have been a bit louder. should have had more rides. the entrance was horrible. 30,000 people trying to get in and one porter potty. atleast 30 minute line to use restroom if u had to outside. exiting was the worst experience. ive been to Dodger games and have came out quicker. 1 1/2 hours in the parking lot to exit horrible. no parking attendants to control traffick. i even sold my Sunday pass because i did not want to experience that again. left at 11pm got home at 2 30@m its a 30 minute drive home.

This was my 4th Hard event, and aside from my first one (which will always be the best) this was the best. I actually really liked the venue being at the fairplex. there were plenty of hotels around, easy access getting in, no problems. I loved where all the stages were. The music was fantastic, the food trucks were great. It was truly a spectacular event.

Pretty Lights killed it, but Seven Lions and DeadMau5 were also amazing!!! It was a perfect Saturday!

It was freezing cold! I think they should have more porter potties spread out as oppose to just one area for the restrooms. That was an inconvenience.

I know the venue has sound restrictions, but ending at 11:00 pm and some of the stages being as quiet as they were was disapointing to say the least. The stages looked great, however needed the awesome lasors that insomniac events always have. Trust me when I say, youll have a better turn out with louder music and more lasors.

THe venue was huge, wide open, not a sketchy crowd, and the artists killed it! Went from GTA, Pretty Lights, ZHU, to Deadmau5 vs. Eric Prydz. The security and cops were super laid back and friendly. The lines were spread out enough that it didn't take long to get in. Plenty of bathrooms and water. Definitely going back next time.

Hard was so fun. They had so many amazing dj's. I'm so glad I came.

Music and venue was good. Variety of stages was nice.

Overall the event was amazing! From the production to the lineup! Loved seven lions, Zhu and Mau5ville! Only thing I recommend you fix is the wait time for the entrance lines.

Pros: Line Up was awesome (only reason you got 2 stars) CONS: 1. The lines a) The lines were ridiculously long, we waited in line for over 2 hours and missed our favorite performance of the night. b) There were no bathrooms outside of the entrance, a random person was urinating in line next to me. GROSS! c) Very unorganized , pandemonium, and dangerous 2. Unorganized a) the layout was just terrible, the main stage was on a hill in mud pits on concrete, puddles, just a bad spot to put the main stage. b) parking gettting in and out was just bad To tell you the truth this was the worst music festival I have ever been to, it was very unorganized and ridiculous. KI missed my favorite performance by waiting in5 different lines for 2 hours.
