HAPPY LANDING is an American folk rock band formed in Oxford, Mississippi in 2020 by Matty Hendley (lead vocals, guitar), Keegan Christensen (vocals, keys), Jacob Christensen (drums), Andrew Gardner (fiddle, vocals), and Wilson Moyer (bass/guitar, vocals). The group pioneers a new wave of folk music, captivating audiences around the country with their energetic live shows and fresh sound, blended from the roots of southern rock, punk and folk. Following support dates with The Head & The Heart, Judah & The Lion & Wilderado, the band's first nationwide tour took place in Fall 2024 following their debut album release, "Golden." 2024-2025 festival appearances include Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Lovin' Life, Summerfest, and Soundside.
I had been to Duling Hall one other time for an event but I was even more impressed to see an actual show in it. Happy Landing did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed their music. I can appreciate that they are a Mississippi band and stay true to that.
For a small venue I found the experience great. Amazing location at the outdoor mall with good parking options and very reasonable drink prices. The sound quality was exceptional, more so for an intimate venue. And to be completely transparent, I thought the opener (Arts Fishing Club) were a better act. Both performances were great though, especially for a Wednesday night.
Love these guys so much!! They are so musically talented and you can tell they love what they do which is great because they create amazing music! High energy shows with great tunes what more could you want!

Opening band…. LadyGun was an entertaining and delightful show!!! Vocals / Bass player, Drummer And guitar player put on an amazing show !!! Super talented trio !!! Very entertaining and So much PERSONALITY!!! Happy Landing was so lively and FUN!! Took me back to the carefree happy sixties !!! Such a great night of entertainment!!!
This was the best concert I’ve ever been to, and the venue matched the vibe of the music. Highly recommend seeing Happy Landing live if you can.
