The stand-in guitarist for Happy, Dakota Denman, absolutely slayed!!!!!
Hairball puts on a great show. I get to listen to music from my youth, drink beer and act like a 18 year old again for about 2 and a half hours!
The Flip was not my favorite. The time between the Flip and Hairball seemed super long. The actual Hairball concert was great.
Loved the concert—awesome that they dress up & have mannerisms of the bands they cover! Brings back great memories of rocking out to this music. Highly recommend for a night out of fun & nostalgia
LOVED the band Hairball - the costumes, excellent musicians, songs, etc. However, didn't like the opening band at all. And the beer stands on the lower level ran out of beer halfway through the event.
The opening band (The Flips) was awful. Hairball was great as always!
Hairball had an awesome concert. They were full of energy and definitely kept us fully entertained. The cover band Flipp I didnt really like and didnt really enjoy them. After Flipp was done there was a really really long wait for Hairball to even get on stage. Im not sure if they were having problems or why there was such a long wait. Otherwise it was great my second concert and both were Hairball. Cant wait to see more.
They are always great. They were a little off on Friday night, one of the singers wasn’t the same and it showed. Couldn’t quite hit the “Hairball” level but rest of band killed it as always. Oh and whoever book Flipp as the opener should never be allowed out of the house again-worse band I’ve ever heard OMG horrible!!!
The concert was awesome Hairball is great, my first time seeing them.
It was fun.. and i love the songs they were singing and playing... Love, Priscilla
AND AS ALWAYS HAIRBALL IS AMAZING We have seen Hairball many time and the are fantastic in their renditions of the bands they pay homage to. An electric energized performance Thank you and keep rockin'
This was my first time seeing Hairball and it was such a great show! Thoroughly exceeded all of my expectations and my girlfriend loved it as well. She was singing and screaming and dancing the entire show. I highly recommend the show to anyone who loves the hair bands of the 80s, as it brought back such great memories with numerous spot-on performances the entire night.
We might have purchased a few more drinks, but $14.00 for a can of domestic beer? C'mon! Band experience was outstanding.
It was my second time seeing HairBall, both times went w women in their 50s and 60s. It’s fun to hear all the best tunes from Kiss, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Queen, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Guns & Roses—- everybody knows the words and sings along, everybody stands for the concert, fun special effects. They had some sound issues. If you want to relive the 70s and 80s rock scene, it’s worth your time and money.
I love the way they got in to character of the artists that they were performing. They sounded great.
It was an amazing show! Like traveling back in time... I took my whole family, the boys really enjoyed the music, it's one thing listening to the music in the car, but the experience of watching someone perform live, it's a whole different vibe.. we hope Hairball comes back next year, we'll be there again..
They always put on the best show....we see them every time they come around...
Show started strong with Kiss, and ended strong with AC/DC. In between fell short with so-so vocals and not a lot of on stage presence/movement from the lead singers. There was no Journey tribute at all. The venue was nice, loved the Rosemont Theatre and parking was easy. This show concept has a lot of potential, but this production missed the mark. Would not pay to see it again.
Amazing show!! Great sound!! Second time seeing them !! Hope they come back to Effingham in 2023!!
